  1. I've never seen one of those either, pretty cool. I wonder how well it performs? Keep lookin' Catt!! Thanks
  2. Nope, compartment is too small for a car engine, I would consider rebuilding something that is blown as far as cost goes, I just need to know "what" I am rebuilding. I'll take a few pics of the engine compartment when I get over my buddy's house (where the boat has been for last 2 yrs) I'm counting on you guys as I was banned from the Whaler forum,lol,...they don't like my name,....geez....whodathunkit would anyone know of any other forums that may be able to help? I need people who can think outside the box as it's not just the motor but the drive train also.
  3. Bigger, louder, stronger baits depending on the chop and use the very subtle and twitch type baits when it's glass. A slight wind is always your best friend with a topwater bite. RI Representing. North of Pa
  4. For schooling stripers, anything with a paddletail works
  5. Nope, wine is Public enemy #1 for me. My primary trigger for a migraine. I don't even have to be in a cluster to get triggered and just smelling a strong red can be enough to send me off. Sucks I really enjoyed it when I was able to back in the day.
  6. Definitely want to stay with the clean inboard look. I have this out to some guys on a whaler forum who are going nuts with it, don't know why I didn't think of that sooner, lol Thanks for the sugg.'s
  7. Wow, that was post 10,000....I guess it doesn't go back to 0000 That means BM has 1,009,998 posts. He's a busy dude Kent- If we delete our senko threads we'll both be back around 8000ish,lol Cheers partner!
  8. It goes back to zero after 9999, Bait_Monkey has clocked the meter 4 times since the board opened so he's coming up to 50,000 posts. If you don't know who he is, keep clicking and you'll meet up eventually
  9. Karma sent, stick some beauties Marcia!! Good Luck
  10. I knew you would do well at this school thing but to be honest, just HOW well you have done is awe inspiring. Kind of like Senko77. I knew he would do well in points this year but had no idea he would win everything he entered, lol. Keep it up muddy, you're setting a great example for our youth and for the older folks who may be considering if they are capable of still doing it. If Muddy can, you can. The light at the end of the tunnel is in view, well done sir.
  11. Bigger problem there George is that there really isn't much room, enough for a 2, maybe a small 3 cyl. Their biggest 2 cyl is only 18 hp. Any other suggestions?
  12. Awesome

  16. I'm looking at possible candidates for a power plant switch with my whaler. The engine compartment is not very big, boat is at friends so I don't have exact measurements but it's roughly 3x3x5 ft tall when console is closed. Console hinges and lifts forward. Anyone have any model numbers or suggestions for engines? It's a 701, 2-stroke jet right now (about 63 hp but a very heavy hull). NOT a reliable power plant for saltwater no matter how much fun it is. This shows the width of the console, it is square.
  17. Cool find Daniel and beautiful family! (My bro has 3 girls, I know your pain, lol)
  18. Here we go,....the "What's up Doc?" Posse,lol
  19. An easy mellow, short trip. T/M only, etc. maybe just an hour from dusk into dark. Also, If the water is close enough to the house, get a set of 2-way radios. The free, constant contact might ease her nerves.
  20. Take her with you so she sees firsthand and won't worry each and every time you want to venture at night. BTW- we are booking the 4th annual BassResource.com roadtrip to YOUR BACKYARD!!! lol Got room for tents??
  21. Yea, Glenn and I were talking a few weeks back and were commenting how the site is the equivalent to many "Bass Clubs" for a lot of folks. It's where we go to learn, share and compare. This club is just a bit more special because it formed in virtual-ville, yet has the dedication of it's members likemit was a local club right down the street from your house. Some of the closest people to me, right now, are from BR.
