Fishy thoughts
Ever get the feeling the fish have telkenetic powers? ever get the vibe? Check this out, posted last night in reference to a Varner Tourny today that the Ga. boys are in. Now,...stay tuned for senko77's post in "Tournament" Just for the record, Randall all but owns this lake. He is a top notch guide there and has been kind enough to take Ryan in and school him in his ways. No disrespect intended there at all. Total opposite.

Gman- I get it handed to me plenty!! I keep myself open in case I'm needed to wrap at the end of the month. Valascus-20+ is actually a pretty good turnout! Lots involved in these and I'm very pleased with all the contributions you guys have made to keep it going. It's taken alot of tweaking and constant attention from all of you to get it working right and now....here we are! Another good point I just noticed. When you sign up,...also add what challenges you have already done like GMAN did this month.

how much do young bass eat?
I could be wrong but I believe the # is 2/3 of their body weight per day. That might be a bluefish though, not sure.

ESPN names most saught after fish.
Tommy Sanders has been using that list as "fill" for 2 seasons now. He really needs to give it a break. It's like, every 3rd week on average.

Flippin' from a canoe?
LL- Avid is surely the resident canoe go-to guy. I would personaly recommend his advice. He has the hours of experience with canoe experimentation.

hook in the eye
Just do your best. It's a drag but he can get by with just one if he has to.

It is destiny...
They should sell those fortune cookies at BPS. When you want to fish next saturday, just order chinese fri night and switch out the cookies. How can the wife refuse you after getting a sign like that?? lol

Flippin' from a canoe?
Wow,LL,..you crazy man!! When I read the title I said to myself "yup,..that's exactly what you'll probably do,..be flippin' from that canoe, lol" but I was picturing you flipping overboard. Standing in a canoe is nuts IMO. Maybe not nuts like "looney" nuts but certainly asking to get yourself and your gear wet I would imagine. Do you stand with success? Am I over reacting?

BANK FISHING
Welcome aboard!! I assume you must know Vyron? Fom Cyprus? *reservoirs are used for public drinking water supply. In my state, you can't even bank fish in a primary reservoir. In a secondary reservoir you are allowed to fish and you can even use a boat but only an electric powered one so I am assuming it is because of fear of contamination.

Thanks Basschaser57 and LBH
To clarify just a bit, I believe bassassasin is speaking about the "hidden contest" we had in the youth forum. we held a hidden contest where the kids were posting answers to a question and they did not know that their answers were being evaluated by us for 1st place thru 3rd place prize packages. Basschaser57 had a friend pass away who left lots of tackle behind and Kevin (BC57) wanted to give it to some of the kids on the board so this was how we did it,through an online contest. I guess the stuff worked BA12?? Great job!! Thanks again Mrs Lovins, Kevin, and Tera!

Has this site helped you?
The site has helped me appreciate my passion. Allowing me an outlet to share and a plethura of opinions to poll for anything under the sun from fishing to family. Many friends I hold here with deep respect, far too many to name. We are the best board out there, that's not my opinion, that's THE opinion. In the end, it's up to you guys though. Up to you to obey the rules and encourage the feeling we try to initiate here, a feeling of the passionate pursuit to do and be better and also a feeling of comaraderie and family. I've made lots of friends and have grown in many ways. Glenn is an inspiration and a great role model. He really leads by example and the board and all it's wealth is the end product.

Have redecking projects started leaks before?
perhaps you could seal the inside once it's striped down, before you begin to finish it.

In the spawn, which lures work best
It's different everywhere. There are factors that need to line up, temp being the biggest.
-
In the spawn, which lures work best
They go directly back to the nest.
-
how much is lure splash a concern when fishing in
Yep. Unless they are spooky. If they are spooky, they are getting hit with soft plastics as opposed to topwaters.

Fishing Guides worth it?
I believe that is Pa Angler. I don't know about for fishing your "home" water but if you are going to a world class fishery like rayburn, fork, stick marsh, okie,Mexico etc,...they are invaluable.

In the spawn, which lures work best
Anything that can sit still in the nest or be shaken. Weighted offerings can be kept in the nest easier and longer. Visible colors are an aid till you get the jist of the whole dance. It's mmore about how much time are you willing to put into getting a certain fish and if you are ok with pressuring it at such a critical time of year.
