  1. Also known as the 'Top Loader' - an evil one indeed.... haha ive heard of this but never seen it done. how many flushes does it last?
  2. concha y toro merlot/cabernet blend 20 bucks on your honey moon? cmon man!
  3. you are cordially invited to my slumber party this wkend. BYOB
  4. the way i do it is i fill the spool about 1/4 of the way and then start running the line through a cloth sprayed with the conditioner. as i get towards the end i also spray the line on the spool every 15 revolutions or so. i also spray around the full spools the night before i go fishing. overkill? not sure.
  5. Good way to earn a Darwin Award there. If someone did that to me they'd either lose THAT teabag or their life. Nothing funny about that. Nothing at all. the problem, Eddie, is that you wouldnt know what happened to you until you saw the faceless photograph of the event the next morning in your inbox. and then if you could point out the perpetrator by that pic without having a bean bag line up youd be guilty of a far worse act. (not that theres anything wrong with that).
  6. heres a review on the bronzeback glx http://www.tackletour.com/reviewloomisbronzeglx.html other rods you can look into are the st. croixs. i love my legend elite ML for smallies. both loomis and st. croix have great lifetime warranties. slammed the car door and broke your rod? get a replacement for $50
  7. the double tail hula grub is one of my favorite baits. i usually rig it on a yamamoto 1/4oz arkie jighead.
  8. great advice. at home i have a kvm switch that allows me to switch between two computers and use the same keyboard, mouse, monitor etc. i use an older computer when im on the net dwnlding from newsgroups, filesharing sites etc. i can reinstall windows whenever i want and not have to worry about backing anything up. a portable hard drive is a good way to transfer files to the good computer after i've determined they are not a threat...
  9. used old town discovery 169 - gotta get something lighter soon in a month ill have a native manta ray 12' nothing gas powered...yet
  10. im not going to ask how you got to his little friend. teabagging a sleeping person always makes me laugh uncontrollably although im always a spectator and have not committed the crime myself.
  11. its asks "which do you like catching better?". geographic area has nothing to do with it. if youve never caught a smallmouth or never caught a largemouth then you shouldnt take part in the poll. ill take a 4lb smallie over a 6lb largemouth any day
  12. thanks SimonSays. do you know if it is waterproof? the descriptions i read did not mention anything about that. i expect to flip a few times on rapids....
  13. hello. i know alot of you VA guys have kayaks and was wondering if you could recommend a depthfinder. ive never used one before so im not sure what to look for other than a color screen. are they waterproof? im coming home in late may for a vacation (im working overseas) and plan on driving down to farmville and picking up a couple manta ray 12s. maybe hit briery creek lake before heading back up to nova. thanks in advance -z
  14. my friend had the first two episodes on dvd and i think i watched them all in a couple days. love the one where the boss finds a turd in his office.
  15. boat - 5-8 rods - loomis and st. croix canoe - 3-4 rods - loomis,st croix,rogue
  16. i have 11 spinning rods but i only take maybe 4 with me when i go fishing. i choose which rods depending on where im going and what lures i plan to use. therefore i only own 5 spinning reels. all four of my baitcasters have reels on them.
  17. ask woo daves. i think he uses them sometimes
  18. i learned baitcasting on a right hand retrieve reels. recently i switched to left hand reels and i am liking it alot more. especially for bottom lures.
  19. tubes, small jigs, light t-rig, small senkos, grubs
  20. loomis MBR844C IMX and shimano curado 200e7
  21. i like the feel of cork
  22. not a daiwa but you can prob find a shimano curado 200e7 for $150.
  23. the most productive (for me) and cheapest jig i can recommend is the strike king bitsy bug. id get the 1/4oz in green craw color and use a matching 3" craw trailer. maybe yum craw papi, netbait paca craw or eakins craw. this will catch bass of all sizes.
