Awesome boat congrats. You know the color of the rug looks like the same color that's on my 2004 Tracker Targa 17SC Deep V the color didn't change all that much in the following years it seems.

I use the hook bonnets that are sold at BPS & Cabela's they are easier to use then ties and rubberbands. The shallow runner does work better in case anyone is interested.

Just ordered some from BPS in 3/0, 4/0 & 5/0 for some reason Cabels's doesn't offer the 5/0 on their website or at the Hamburg, PA store.

Anyone using spinning gear wants to stay away for flurocarbon as it comes off the spool like a slinky toy if they can make it with a whole lot less memory then it may work there but my experiance and my fellow anglers is that it's not for spinning gear.

When in doubt and if you can use a boat while the boat is just idling around the lake open the bail and let all the line out and then while holding the line betwen two fingers reel the line back in that works for me also it's not a bad idea to do this after each day of fishing as well. I use a snap swivel on the end when doing this.

Get some Rapala Shad Raps in both shallow and deep versions cast and then retrieve the Raps catch everything and I mean everything. They are as they say idiot proof no offense to anyone anywhere.

Did you try them on Zoom Horny Toads? I usually use a 5/0 hook on these and the Skip Gap only goes to 4/0.
