  1. When you're buying extra dividers, ensure you get the dividers specific to the size of your box (e.g. 3700 vs 3600). They are NOT the same, and they are NOT interchangeable!
  2. There is no AI use on these forums like you mention. There's not even an administrator option to use. And I don't want one.
  3. Oh c'mon guys, I didn't mean it to sound like that! LOL
  4. Hey I just got a text from our New England member and former moderator @Low_Budget_Hooker congratulating the 'Hawks. Class act as always!
  5. It's a party in Seattle! Tens of thousands of people in the streets dancing and smiling, bands playing, and random fireworks. It's a giant party, and it's going to be a late night! So...print this off if need it:
  6. It's like the 4th of July - fireworks going off everywhere, including this:
  7. Seahawks wire-to-wire! An overwhelming defensive dominance and stellar play by Sam Darnold and K9! And the halftime included special appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, a real wedding, and one of the most elaborate halftime sets ever. What a party! Oh, and God Bless America was sung by Brandi Carlile, who is from my neighborhood. Well done! And to win it in Levi Stadium... 😁
  8. The grub has long-been an underrated lure. I've used it - and the tube - heavily every year for decades.
  9. Today we ride!
  10. At BassResource, our forums have always been built on real-world experience, shared knowledge, and authentic conversations between anglers. That’s what makes this community special. Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are becoming more common, and we recognize that some members may use them for research or drafting ideas. That’s fine — but how they’re used matters. Our priority is preserving trust, authenticity, and meaningful discussion. 1. Real Experience Comes FirstOur forums exist to share: Personal fishing experiences First-hand observations Regional and seasonal insights Gear feedback based on actual use Posts that reflect real-world experience are strongly encouraged and valued above generic, textbook-style answers. If you’re sharing advice, we encourage you to speak from your own time on the water whenever possible. 2. AI Should Not Replace ParticipationAI-generated responses should not: Replace your personal input Be copied and pasted without context Be used to answer questions in bulk Be used to appear more authoritative than you are Forums thrive on discussion — not perfectly formatted final answers. Leave room for conversation. 3. Transparency MattersIf you use AI to: Help research a topic Summarize information Organize your thoughts Please disclose that in your post. Example: Transparency builds trust. Undisclosed AI content presented as personal experience undermines community confidence. 4. Add Value Beyond the AIIf AI is used, your post should still include: Your opinion Your experience Your clarification Your regional insight AI can provide general information. Only you can provide your story. 5. Accuracy & ResponsibilityAI can sometimes provide incomplete or incorrect information. If you choose to use AI in any capacity, you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the information before posting it. Fishing regulations, seasonal timing, and local patterns vary widely. Be mindful of that. 6. Preserve the CultureThis community has been built over decades on: Respect Camaraderie Honest debate Mentorship Helping new anglers learn We encourage: Storytelling Friendly disagreement Regional perspectives Trial-and-error learning We discourage: Impersonal, overly polished responses that shut down discussion Posts that read like encyclopedia entries Content designed to dominate threads rather than contribute to them In ShortTechnology is welcome. Authenticity is required. If AI helps you think — great. If it replaces your voice — that’s a problem. Let’s keep this a place where anglers talk to anglers.
  11. Has anyone looked at Guntersville on the DeepDive app? Does it match what the pros are doing?
  12. If you really want to become a better bass angler this year, you need more than just new baits and random YouTube tips — you need a simple, repeatable system that actually helps you improve every time you go fishing. This video lays out a straightforward methodology to level up your fishing skills. Follow these 4 easy steps and, with patience and focus, you’ll start seeing patterns faster, make better decisions on the water, and confidently add new techniques to your arsenal every year.
  13. There have been two Classics in recent years when the morning temps were in the teens, and it didn't get much warmer than that through the day. They're saying they've never fished it that cold? Must be the ones that didn't fish those Classics. Otherwise they should have their memories tested. LOL
  14. I prefer AI isn't used here. Not only are AI responses inconsistent and often inaccurate, but they are also highly dependent on the query, which can introduce biases or lead them down an edge-case rabbit hole. In addition, a key element missing from AI is experience. It cannot provide information based on real-world experience, which is critical in these forums. The collective knowledge and experience of the members here are far better than AI responses. The original OP clearly stated he used AI and quoted it verbatim. He used it as used as a starting point and added his personal commentary. The purpose was to spark discussion instead of replacing it. That is the only correct way to use AI responses on these forums. Using AI responses and presenting them as your own is misleading at best, and if you're found out, your credibility will be questioned forever. Authenticity is required. If AI helps you think — great. If it replaces your voice — that’s a problem. Let’s keep this a place where anglers talk to anglers.
  15. From the Senko to the Alabama Rig, these lures transformed bass fishing over the last 30 years. https://www.bassresource.com/fishing/lure-innovations.html
  16. John Cox weighed in 2 fish, one just barely a keeper and the other was short. With the penalty, that's how he ended up -1lb.
  17. The fuel efficiency of the Suzuki Stealth is one of the favorite features, but “easy on the pocketbook” is what everybody loves! https://www.suzukimarine.com/promotions/
  18. Did you recently spool it with new line? It's possible you may have over-filled it slightly. The line could be rubbing against the thumbar or the bottom part of the reel frame. Don't ask me how I know this. 😁
  19. When winter is fading but spring isn’t quite here yet, water temps are still in the 40s to low 50s—and that’s when flat-sided crankbaits absolutely shine.
  20. Hey guys, some of you need to know I'm no bandwagoner. I was at the very first Seahawk game in the Kingdome in 1976. My little league football team all went to watch the new NFL team play its first game in history. Yeah, I played little league football, but that's another story. I've been a fan since. I weathered decades of disrespect, bottom-of-the-league jokes, the dreaded Ken Behring years, Brian Bosworth, and being an afterthought in the NFL, never getting a Sunday night game nor MNF. The AFC/NFC West was a joke. The past 12 years of mostly amazing seasons and NFC West muscle-flexing have been an unleashing of decades of pent-up frustrations (I feel for you Bills and Vikings fans, and....even Cowboys fans). Add to that...the Mariners. Again, the butt of jokes in the MLB for 50 years, with the exception of the late 90's. And now...wow! They went further than ever in franchise history this season (but still the ONLY MLB team to never make the World Series). The 2026 season looks even more promising. So if I get a little pumped up about the 4th Seahawk Superbowl appearance... Oh and hey, Seattle is hosting the World Cup this summer. How cool is that? I'm not a soccer fan, but hosting a worldwide sport with an enormous fanbase is pretty dang cool. It feels like, finally, Seattle is making it to the big leagues.
  21. This video is getting a lot of attention! People are loving the tips!
  22. Glad to hear it's finally beginning to warm up for you guys! Spring will be here before you know it!
  23. Get ready for Spring! Make sure you have new Pounce spooled on your reels!
  24. I merged the new account with the old account and kept the new email. Yes. I can do that. I am...the Mighty Oz!!
