  1. Whether you're dealing with post-spawners, pressured fish, or hunting giants under heavy mats, this lineup will help you put more bass in the boat anywhere in the country.
  2. I'd recommend it.
  3. I just returned from picking up her ashes. We also have her footprint and a tuft of hair. She's back with us, and there's slight solace in that at least. The vet gave us a pamphlet from this: https://www.petparentgriefsupport.com/ Others here may find it useful too.
  4. This is a good topic to bring up again. Let's hear your thoughts!
  5. Hey guys, Cloudflare is not a hosting service. Our outage (and previous issues) had absolutely nothing to do with Cloudflare. It was a problem with our server. I've already explained what happened. Please do not armchair quarterback this and create rumors. Thanks!
  6. I know of a fishing brand that's not known in the States for fishing rods that was going to introduce a high-end but pricey line of rods. Then the tariffs hit and jacked the prices up even more. So they 86'd them for now. Things like this are happening all across the board now. New products are being put on hold, and some existing products are being pulled from production. This means fewer jobs and more layoffs, combined with higher inflation, which means less spending. It's a vicious cycle.
  7. I just checked, and both of you are in the contest email list and the emails are being sent. So either your provider is blocking our emails, or something is happening on your end - it could be anti-virus software. Sometimes they block what they think is spam.
  8. Click the giveaway link at the top and enter your email AND THEN click the link in the confirmation email. <-- if you don't do that, you won't get any emails. NOTE it's best if you have a Gmail account. Other providers can and do block our emails at random times. Microsoft is especially bad (Hotmail, Outlook, Live, etc)
  9. Thanks man, that is helpful. Some people are like "It's just a cat/dog" but losing a cat isn’t a “small” loss—it’s the loss of a daily companion, a routine, a presence that quietly shaped our life. Grief for a pet can hit just as hard as losing a person, sometimes harder because they’re woven into your everyday moments. The pain is the cost of loving something that gave you a lot back. There’s no shortcut around that. I wish there were, because this really sucks.
  10. Igloo coolers are surprisingly durable. Don't ask me how I know this.
  11. You cannot fish pre-spawn, spawn, and post-spawn the same way… and this video breaks down exactly how to adjust to each stage so you stay on fish all spring long.
  12. I have a dedicated DS outfit. I also have a dedicated outfit for the splitshot rig. Always rigged and ready to throw.
  13. Well....it was our turn a few days ago. We had to put our cat, Bella, down. The vet found a tumor in December and said she had 3-12 months left. She lasted 4 We are devastated. The home is quiet, cold, and empty without her. She was a Siberian, and if you know anything about them, you know that's an entirely different level. They're more dog than cat - very loyal, calm, athletic, and extremely intelligent. We trained her to fetch, come when called, ride in the truck, and walk on a leash, among other things. This is going to sting for a very long time. It feels like we lost our child.
  14. This is the Motley Crew I was hanging with. There's about 15 people not in the picture, like Zona and Ike, but can you name the pros in this pic? And can you find me?
  15. The split shot rig might sound like a beginner technique, but used right, it’s one of the deadliest finesse presentations you can tie on — even for advanced anglers.

Don't PM me about this guys.
  17. I use AFTCO gloves: https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Aftco_Solago_Sun_Gloves_Silver_Storm_Camo/descpage-ASSG.html?from=basres Yes, they have some of that "grip" material, but it's very thin and flexible. I don't notice it at all, and have no problem tying knots with them on. In fact, they're so comfortable I often get home and realize I still have them on. LOL!
  18. A number of you tried sending me messages on Facebook, Instagram, text, etc asking about the outage, and I'm sorry that I didn't respond. With so many people pinging me, I just cannot provide individual updates when I'm focusing on solving the outage.
  19. Hey guys, Yes, the site was down for quite awhile. It took some time to figure out what happened and then apply the fix. Essentially, an automatic update to the server operating system contained a known issue that caused it to disconnect from the database. We had to carefully apply the fix so that data wasn't lost, and we were successful. Thanks for being patient!
  20. Better fuel efficiency, more options, more control. Check out the latest promotions. https://qr.suzukimarine.com/bassresource
  21. Yes. I've been doing videos with these guys this week. Hanging out with them. Kinda cool.
  22. fyi..I'm there right now.
  23. Hmmm....I set it for the keyword "crappie", but I think it misunderstood.....🤪
