No, He's using regular old fashioned split shot . From BB up to 1/8 ounce, just ordinary shot, no bullet or conical shaped at all.

I am feeling you SAm: At 11am It's back to Math; Heres the boring crap I am dealing with: The Distributive Law, one of the basic laws of algebra, says: a(b+c)=ab+ac. This is handy for simplifying, by getting rid of parentheses. Factoring an expression like ab+ac=a(b+c) is the distributive law backwards. It too can help to simplify, as maybe the a or b+c can be divided out of a bigger equation somehow. FUN< HUH?

Don't feel sorry for me, not for a minute. When I hear Miles Davis soaring through scales, and working chords in way's that most people can not think of, I am at peace with the universe, in a very rewarding and spiritual place These guys can and do make mistakes, the idea that they can get on a stage and engage the rules of music notation and challange time signatures, most do not even know are possible, is like watching a guy on a high wire, without a net When I hear Art Blakey beatuing out fractions that come from somewhere in his crative soul, it just puts me in such a beautiful space. And When I listen to Louis Armstrong, my soul dances When I listen to Monk play that piano or Trane play that sax, or Joe Pass, play his guitar, I hear genius and it is awesome. As for off tone, and horrid BS, that's what the dial on my radio is for, The above statement does not mean that only Jazz is worth listening too, but as i said there is more Jazz than I canl isten to in my lifetime no need for anyone to feel sorry for me

WHY???
Hey Fellas; My fishing partned is a real huge fan of using a spilt shot when T rigging plastics. He either crimps it right on the eye of the hook, or up to 6 inches in front of the bait, he adjusts it as needed, He does this with great success. He also likes throwing smaller jig heads and trailers. I asked him, when he is using the shot right onto the eye of the hook, why not just throw a small jig, what's the difference? He said the drop feels different. So we hooked up, he using his split shot over the eye and I put on a 1/8 ounce round jig head, we had the same trailer on them. His went straight down to the bottom, slowly and mine (jig) wiggled ,almost fluttered down at a slightly slower drop. When he jigged his with the rod, his definitely had a different drop than mine, and on some days he outfishes me with this difference Is the difference in the drop due to the angle of the hook ve jig hook eye? Basically they are both round lead, with a hook, but the split shot drops differently. The only difference is the angle of the hook vs jig eye? Is that what is causing this?

my hunt for a fishing spot failed today.
I have a 2 piece spinning rod and a small tackle box I keep behind the seat of my S-10, if I pass a pond and or lake that looks good I pull over , or go back to it. See if it's posted and if not I fish it, otherwise I will keep an eye on it and if it looks good i will see if i can get permission.

A question about fall
Since I am under no pressure to get a 5 bass limit , I would rather spend my time slowly jigging deep spots and finding a bigger fish.

my hunt for a fishing spot failed today.
Try going to the SOUTHEAST FORUM, and post a question there, or look for smaller tackle stores close buy, particularly those selling freshwater/bass tackle and live bait. You can also look for a nearby Bass Club.call em and join em,.

Last of "The Experience"
Billy was basic, the way I like a bass to be, he also played in Ike and Tina Turners band. While I have an appreciation for the Joco's of the world it is more the Ducky Dunns I love to play with. The history was put up for our younger readers. Mitch Mitchell blew Buddy (ONEHIT) Miles away Hey Ed, have you every been over to Electric Lady Land, don't know if it is still open, if it is you will be overwhelmed
