  1. Hey: I got a good idea from Micro, without him even knowing. He sent me some baits with treble hook bonnets. I think he did it so the lures would not get scratched. When I go to the store next I will be getting some, It will allow to put similar lures in the same slot of a Plano Type Box without the lures becoming all tangled up. They are much easier to take off than I thought, and will allow me to put 2 or 3 of the same bait in a slot.
  2. I am sure Virginia will let you drive with no insurance, since they are not a commy state

  4. Hey Fellas; My daughter called me from Rome yesterday. She is studying in Florence this year. She is tracing my footsteps around Italy some 32 years after I had the same experience. I spent the better part of a year THERE , I WAS NOT STUDYING, JUST VISITING. It is a wonderful thing when your kid follows up on some of your positive experiences and you can share that joy and excitement. She called not far from the Spanish Steps, where one of the greatest poets of Western Literature,KEATS, died. She was then heading for the Trevi Fountain. I can't wait for her to get to Naples and Sicily in the spring to meet some of our relatives!

  11. Great spot, so is the areas that the charter boats hit out of Sheepshead Bay Bklyn. There is another spot Breezy Point in Queens that offers wonderful surf fishing. I like the area along the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn from the 65th st Pier to the whole wall going to Toys r Us at Bay Parkway, Tides are strong it's where the Hudson pours out into the Atlantic Ocean. On the right tides you can really hammer them between 6 to 10 lbs. from shore.
  12. 3, basically along the lines of what Catt stated. I have 6,( one is a bacup) usually have 3 in the boat. Exception , fishing Snag Proof type frogs then I bring a 4th specially set up for that, Could actually do it with 2 one Med and one Med hvy.
  13. Now that I am reconnected with Brooklyn I cant wait for late summer and fall! They are really fun from shore 8-)

I don't know about you fellas, why shouldn't the ol lady enjoy her life too? Elaine works hard, she doesn't fish; TOO BROOKLYN FOR THAT! She workss hard as a Credit Manager for a NYC advertising firm , and every week she gets her hair and nails done, she works for it, it makes her feel good, what is the issue here? She knows nothing about fishing, yet everything she has ever bought me for the sport is exactly what I use. This woman can also stretch a dollar around a corner, she is more generous with her family and me than she ever is with herself. If your ol lady feels better doing things for herself MYOB, your world would be a better place for it. Solar Physics would be easier to understand than how she thinks at times. But the sun still shines and she completes my life, why should I bother to understand either of them?

  17. Hey Thanks to all. Now lets get fishing!! Actually I am in Brooklyn for a week, me and Elaine cooking a mess of Eggplant Parmigiana and meatballs ala Muddy and we got a mess of incredible Italian Sausage from a local pork store. All my cousins coming over for Sunday Dinner, Elaine cooks some deadly gravy, for an Irish Woman! 8-)
