  1. X2, got this rod this weekend and it is just absolutely an amazing rod. I used it for some jerkbaits and top water as well as some 1/4oz swim jigs and 1/4oz spinner baits. Later,
  2. WOW, $450 and you only get a 3year warranty and then have to pay a $100 replacement fee and shipping, if warranty work is needed! Later,
  3. It all comes down to what feels comfortable to you. Later,
  4. The Curado should easily handle weightless senkos, I am just not sure the rod can handle this light of a lure. Try tying on a 3/8oz or up lure and see if it casts ok. If so then then your problem is the rod. If not then the problem is the reel. My first 201E7 would birds nest if you looked at it, my second one is flawless. Yeah I know a senko isn't that light. But also what size are you trying to throw? 4", 5" etc... Later,
  5. Look at the new Falcon BuCoo rods. $99 to $110 and they use all Fuji components, including guides. Later,
  6. Matt Davis of Otterods makes some of the sickest looking rods I have ever seen/ Later,
  7. For my spinner baits I have 2 rods I use. I have a 6' 10" MH/XF and a 7' MH/F rod. I really like them both. The 6' 10" MH/XF also is my rod I use for jigs. Later,
  8. Palomar, it is the only knot to use. Later,
  9. I love my Curados, almost as much as my 51mg, but not quite. Later,
  10. Unfortunately nothing yet. Hope to hear some more information soon. Later,
  11. The new Falcon rods look awesome. Can't wait to see the new Skeet Reese Rods, suppose to be in the same price range as well. Nice to have a bigger selection of awesome looking rods. Later,
  12. Centrifugal for me. I have both Shimano's and a Revo STX. I just find the centrifugal much easier and a lot more reliable. Later,
  13. Uhmm, not sure what to say, first that big hook in the guys thumb then the hook in the eye. Later,
  14. I like my trailers to match my jigs, but have been trying using contrasting colors lately. I really like Net Baits Paca Chunks and Yum Chunks. I also use Mega Strike fish attractant. Have been trying some of the Chompers twin tail grubs as well as the Yamamoto Flappin Hawgs 2. For swimming jigs I use Kinami single tail grubs in either 3 or 4 inch. Later,
  15. Mega Strike is awesome stuff. I was throwing a spinner bait Saturday evening with a single tail grub trailer and getting some nbbles but no takers. So I added some Mega Strike to the grub and made a cast. The next thing I know a fish attacked it, chomped off the back portion of the grub and then attacked it again and dang near swallowed the whole spinner bait. I definitely am a Mega Strike believer! Later,
  16. I really like the sale they have going on the Revo SX in the fathers day sale ad. Regular $195 now $170,lol Its on sale at regular price, go figure! Later,
  17. I use spinning gear for all my plastics, t-rigging, wacky and drop shotting. I will still on occasion use a bc, but very rarely anymore. Later,
  18. Its not bad, but it is not Yo-Zuri that is for sure. I have one rod spooled up with it and I can't really complain about it too much other then it has a little bit more memory retention then the yo_zuri. Later,
  19. I just tried out some of the XPS fluorocarbon in 14lbs test on my jig setup and it performed flawlessly!! Very low memory and excellent knot strength and excellent abrasion resistance. Later,

Hank Parker just had a really good 2 part series on jig fishing on the Versus Channel. He basically showed you can fish a jig anytime, anywhere, any color and style with multiple types of trailers and catch fish at any time and anywhere. Later,
  21. Is the BPS JM Signature rod a good value at $119? They have them on sale and they come with Fuji Titanium SIC guides and seem to be extremely well built and from what I have read on the net very sensitive as well. Thanks,
  22. Always remember to check your line and knot for abrasion and always remember to re-tie often. I always check my line and knot before going out and at least once while out and will re-tie after about every 2 or 3 fish. Later,
  23. As Reel Mechanic said, neither. They are built on the St Croix Premiere line of blanks. The Crucials, don't know about the Powells but they are built on better blanks and I know the Crucial includes Fuji Alconite guides where the Mojo uses the Batson guides. That is a huge difference just in itself. Later,
  24. Bobby from Megastrike has an awesome deal going in the flea market section. Rods shipped for $59. Later,
  25. I got the Berkley Spooling station on sale at BPS during the Spring Classic for $15 and it has been worth it. Works very well and makes it very easy to spool a reel up by yourself and very quickly I might add. Use to have BPS spool up my reels as well, but I have switched to doing it myself. This way I can also apply KVD during the process. Later,
