  1. Where have I heard of this story before? I think I saw it on TV. Anyways, does anyone know how they can go through with this scam? I doubt anyone is stupid enough to fall for it, but there are some cases. I've heard of at least 2 people that fell for it. At the time they "thought" they were getting a great deal on a sportbike... How do they get scammed though? What is the process? Do they grab the money from you and run away? :-/

  3. Great job, the last picture is epic!
  4. No need to apologize to him. The next time he comes out of his house, tell him you have a valid pass and ask him politely to leave you alone. If he doesn't back off, you can call the cops of him. Simple enough.
  5. This bait is awesome!! I want to try them out, but $50 is kind of expensive after tax and shipping. I also hope it's not for 1.
  6. I was going to buy some Spro frogs, but I guess I'll get 2 of each brand to test out. Look forward to trying them out.
  7. Yes. I've never shipped rods though. I imagine the costs would be higher. Thanks.
  8. I usually don't keep fish because I fish for the fun of it and enjoy being out on the water. If I had to keep a few because my parents ask me to bring home fish or if they get hooked badly, I'll keep it. As others have mentioned, none will be over 2 1/2-3lb size. Also, there are better tasting fish to keep. Bass is not one of them.
  9. Does USPS ship to Canada?
  10. I'm a long way from 1k... been here for about 400+ days and only 668 posts. I should be good in about another 300 ish days.
  11. I guess I'll try it, it's the closest thing I see.
  12. I was actually thinking about something like a knock off of Senko rather than an answer for. I've never heard of this bait before and I also found a bait called the Fish Doctor by Zoom as well, but I want a Zoom Senko.
  13. ...a stick bait. I was on another forum and came to me. Why don't they have a stick bait. I would love to pay 3-4 bucks for a pack of 15. Zoom baits have that wiggle to them like how the Senko does.
  14. Very informative post and it has helped me out big time. I actually had no idea what I was looking at. First impression, I though it was a hump with no fish around. I guess I won't really know until I get my first boat next summer, but it's always nice to get an idea for that little head start.
  15. I did notice this when I was fishing, but I ended up backlashing and haven't re-spooled the line yet. I will keep this in mind the next time I take my crankbait rod out.
  16. Oh and one more thing, maybe I should stop the spool with my thumb before my lure hits the lure?
  17. Out of all the reels I own, this is the only reel that gives me backlash and I have no idea why. It gives me backlash sometimes on the outer edges of the spool which my finger ain't wide enough to cover. The line always come up from the edge of the spool. I set my brakes to 3 out of 6, I am using 10lb McCoy Mean Green and I set my casting knob just right. The reel is paired it up with a 7' Clarus and this combo is smooth and can cast a mile, but once in a while, I get that d**n outer edge backlash. Any idea why? If I make a long cast, usually it is fine "most" of the time. Shorter casts will definitely give me backlash most of the time. When The line is wet, it doesn't backlash as often, but still does. HELP! Might need a new cranking reel.
  18. Can you explain to me what you see from each sonar shot? I usually rent my boats so all I do is beat the banks. I rarely fish in open water, but am looking to buy my first boat soon. Hopefully I can learn from deep water skills.
  19. Spinnerbaits. Maybe because I rarely fish windy days, but they are here when I need them. Also any crankbait that dives more than 6 feet.
  20. I've heard that the VMC EWG hooks are terrible, but I hope you aren't talking about the trebles because this is the only brand I put on my crankbaits. They seem to be sharp, but I've had issues with it bending once in a while. Lucky Crafts if I recall also use VMC trebles as well as many other brands of crankbaits.
