Identify This Fish - I'm Stumped!
If there is walleye where you are, I'm going with it. I looked at it many times and it has to be a walleye.

Buzzbait color help?
I have black and white cavitron buzzbaits on gold blades. Does the blades matter if they are red, black or gold? I need some confidence in these baits, I haven't caught one on a buzzbait yet so I stopped using them.

Zoom Baby Brush Hogs
I love it unweighted... catches me so many fishes.

Tackle Warehouse drops Fenwick
Micro, I still remember when you recommended me that HMG rod and I'm still in love with that rod. I am very disappointed in Fenwick lately. They removed the Techna AV line, the redesign of the HMG feels heavier with a ACS reel seat and I never cared for the Elite Tech's although I have a Crankster.

Zoom Plastics
Zoom products are amazing and I catch fish with or without scent.

Sweet Beaver help
Thanks for the tips guys. I'll give this a try next outing.

UFC 116
Carwin is the only man capable of possibly of beating Brock IMO. JDS and Cain are too small. Brock proved he can take a beating tonight and still be okay. He will definitely take Cain down in their fight and pound him out. I'll be very surprised if Cain wins.

Sweet Beaver help
I tried to use the Sweet Beaver this weekend having lots of confidence in this bait, but when I got to the lake, I couldn't catch a fish it with. I was having some issues with the line twisting a lot and the bait rolling over/doing 360s in the water. I was fishing a * Beaver weightless on a 3/0 EWG Gammy on 10 mono. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I did some research and people seem to be fishing them weightless no problem.

Re: Negative Tackle Warehouse experiences? anyone else?
I'm glad you had a good experience with TW. I ordered 6 Booyah jigs year ago and they only gave me 4. I called them up and told them I was missing 2 jigs and the representative wasn't the kindest person to talk to. He didn't apologize to me and he told me they can't send me the other 2 because I lived in Canada. I didn't really care, but was pretty disappointed at the person I talked to. Waited a day or 2, got my refund and instead of giving me what they owed. They were short 2 bucks. Not a big deal so I didn't bothered to ask them for 2 bucks, but 2 bucks missing from a $8 refund is not too great. They messed up twice on me. I would still order for them because I'm sure they aren't doing all this on purpose, but the shipping to Canada is too expensive. There are better options for me. I would still do business with them if the shipping didn't kill me. Wow... someone from TW saw my post and they sent me an email with a sincere apology and wanting to make things right for me. Great work...

battle of the baits
I really like this idea and I think it's fun. Although it won't truly prove which bait is the better, it's fun to see which one will come out on top. I can't wait for the results. I am laying my money on the Chigger Craw.

bass deeply hooked
Thanks for all the replies. Went out today, caught 4 bass, 1 catfish and the hot sets where very well. I should learn some patience and stop getting distracted when the day is slow.

have you ever caught a bullfrog?
My gf was fishing with a baby brush hog and she saw a frog just sitting in the water. I couldn't see it so she used the bait to point out where the frog was and he jumped almost a feet up and ate the brush hog, LOL... I was like "gl with that", but I guess the frog wasn't hooked, just had half the bait in it's throat and let go.

bass deeply hooked
Well I finally caught my first bass this year and It was hooked in the throat. I tried to use the method through the gills, but I felt like I was struggling too hard so I decided to cut the line on the eye of the hook and let it go. It didn't really swim away, but I saw it splash around belly up and never saw it again. I know this topic has been brought up over and over and everyone has a different answer so does the fish live or die? I've heard everything from if it bleeds it does, etc. I'm not sure why I care so much because I've hooked many bass in the throat before, but for some reason I feel like unhappy this time. Maybe it was the first bass this year and it might die. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, it was a pretty big bass too. Should of taken it home and cried while I ate it... just playing...

Funniest Review ever....
He's great. When I have time, I'll look up his other videos. I wonder if I'll laugh my butt off if I got the chance to fish with him.

How many rods?
5 and I can do everything I want to do except deep cranking. 3 bait casters and 2 spinning.

Megastrike Review - WORKS VERY WELL!!!
I haven't seen much improvements in my strike last year, but I like this product a lot. It gives me a lot of confidence in what I am throwing. It keeps unwanted scent away, makes the bait more lubed so it comes through cover easier and maybe the scent will make a uninterested bass take the bait, but I give an opinion on that yet, I haven't used it enough to tell.

What does your name (Handle) mean?
Trippy was a nick name that was given to me by these 2 guys when I was in grade 7. I was a new kid to that elementry school at that time because I've just moved into a new home. Everyone started calling me it and it went on through high school and even now, my friends refer to me as Trips or Trippy. I am chinese so Jai means boy... sort of like Johnny boy in english or in japanese they say son... as in daniel-son from the karate kid. There you go. My name and its probably the first time I've explained it and to people I don't know Btw, Jai is not pronouned Jay, although people who don't know will say it like that.

I tried this and notice the same thing with both of mine.

crankbait colors
Many of the lakes up here don't have shad in them and I'll still throw a shad colour bait without hesitation. I'm not the best crankbait fisherman out there, but I believe colour is the least important part of choosing a crankbait. Although sometimes colour could mean all the difference between a hot day on the water or no fish. Do what makes you confidence... nothing is written in stone and everyone is from a different place.

Citica 200E loose handle
I did this yesterday and it didn't help much. I'll probably give Shimano a call to get an opinion. I'm not sure if I will send it in. Reel works fine like I said. Hopefully when I pick up another Citica, it won't have the same issue for me.

Low Memory Line
McCoy Mean Green Mono. Give this line a try. I left the 6 and 8 pounds on the spinning reel for over 6 months at my girlfriends place over the winter, got them back, took it out and I was surprised it had absolutely no memory at all. The line was still very strong as well. It's a great line that I believe more people should give a try. I don't know about the braid or other stuff from McCoy, but the Mean Green Mono is great. I have a bottle of KVD unused as well. I wished that Roadwarrior or one of the members here would give this line a comparison to the YoZuri Ultra soft that I hear so much about. I'm really interested in knowing how well it fares.
