  1. I keep all mine in the original bags, then stick the ones I want to take fishing in what I call my "worm bag". It's just a small blue bag I got when I renewed my BASS subscription.
  2. Dont' forget to add a couple jointed shad raps also.
  3. The great thing about getting a degree in Radiology is that it can open up many other doors. There are so many radiology related fields that you can cross over into and make yourself even more marketable. MRI, Nuclear medicine, CT, Cardiac cath, etc. I started out as an X-ray tech in 95, since then I have went on to specialize in MRI, and cardiovascular interventional radiology. Then, I was recruited by a pacemaker company from the cath lab I worked in and have been a pacemaker/ICD rep ever since. What I'm trying to say is that for me, it has been a great experience that does not limit you to one field. Please don't take this as me saying " I've done this, and specilaized in that", I'm just saying, being an x-ray tech can be fun and rewarding, as well as providing a great stepping stone to other health care jobs. Good luck.
  4. Picked up my first jig last spring, STILL learning it! Sometimes they hammer it, other times you have to "be one with the jig". No telling how many times a bass has picked mine up and dropped it. My fishing partner told me if it feels funny at all, set the hook.
  5. Vatech, Are you gonna be fishing the Angler's Choice Ranger trail? That's where we are launching out of in a couple weeks. I'm going down to practice this weekend, never fished it before, heard there are some monsters in there!
  6. Hang in there buddy, this too shall pass. Sorry for your string of bad luck!
  7. I have seen first hand where a plastic worm has laid on a piece of plastic trim on a boat. It didn't stay there too long and ate down into the plastic and discolored it.
  8. For the money, hard to beat a Powell IMHO. Best drop shot rod I've ever owned, and I have a lot of rods!
  9. Pretty great ain't it !!!!!!!! These guys are the best, I've learned a lot.
  10. As already stated, I use both clear and green, have seen NO difference. Even better, it's nicely priced! I owe my "finding out about it" to RW, thanks dude!
  11. I have a CI4 on the Cumara you are looking at. LOVE it! But, to be honest I haven't fished the other rod, others will chime in.
  12. Agreed, the inline spinerbait. Everything from perch to pike and in between! WHY don't I fish it anymore?????????????
  13. I have seen the pictures Bass Brat and they are terrifying. The truly sad part is that I actually work in the medical field and am fully aware. How sad is that!
  14. I spoke to some friends who have thier kids on meds for ADD. Ritalin is the one you always hear about having "zombie" like " effects. However of the 3 people I spoke with they are all on different kinds of meds. If you go the medicine route, only you and your family have that answer, just know that there are alternative to Ritalin. Good luck.
  15. I got started in college, got addicted. I drive a lot for my job now and it helps to pass the time. If I go fishing without it, I feel lost! I'd like to stop before my 40th birthday, wish me luck!
  16. I'm 38 now, and as a kid I constantly got in trouble for talking in class and day dreaming. I still have problems focusing now, my Dr. says that if I was a kid in school now they would probably drug me! I probably have adult ADD! I truly believe this said "bait monkey" problem is some form of it. The up side is that most kids with ADD are also very intelligent. It would be nice if there were some sort of group with other parents of ADD kids you could talk with and get suggestions other than meds. This certainly seems to be a popular label given to kids these days. When I was a kid we got off the bus, rode our bikes and played in the woods until dark. I think this was a big help in "unwinding" my mind when I was young. Kids are not able to roam around like this anymore with all the dirt bags out there. Good luck, you sound like a good parent and I'm sure you will find the right thing to do.
  17. My motorcycle helmet.
  18. Thanks for the reply's my fellow dippers. Maybe I'll quit one day, but until then, I can't imagine fishing without it, I've heard Heroin is easier to give up!
  19. Thanks for sharing another great interview with us Glenn. I want YOUR autograph!
  20. The one you mentioned was may all time favorite as well. Paulie and Chris together, hilarious!
