Favorite Bait Scent

Reel Painting
It's one thing repainting, upgrading and super tune all at once, you/I could get a better reel. But one at a time makes sense imo.

Reel Painting
Different strokes... People pay top dollar to paint their hard baits only to to have them banged into rocks and chewed on. The reel stays on the rod in your hand lol.

Reel Painting
Yeah, I did a Google search and the quality of others compared to calfish work arnt even close. I just want a solid color. No fancy patterns or stencils. I'm almost comfortable completely disassembling the reel but not 100% so know that would add to the cost. The one thing I'm concerned about is how long the paint will last or how it compares to the factory job. How is the paint holding up on your reel?

Reel Painting
Aside from calfish , who else does reel painting? And what's a reasonable price for a basic solid color? I'm thinking of having a citica e done that has some minor rash painted a matte black or gray but I'm open to ideas. Anyone have a custom paint job on theirs?

Roboworms
If I can't catch anything on a straight tail or alive shad, the fish arnt there. T or C rigged, shakey, and split or drop shot is how I fish them. All of their colors look amazing too but I always go for Aarons magic or bluegill.

Best Worm For Shaker Head?
I'll x2 the kut tails and roboworm. Both staples in my arsenal. Another idea is to use torn/repaired baits. I keep a bag of baits that I repaired with mend it and use those after they soak in some megastrike or similar scent.

Cod Ghost Or Bf4 For Ps3??
One thing to consider with bf4 is the issue with the game deleting your campaign save data. It's happen to me a few times already and seems to be a common problem that they haven't addressed. That said, I still love it and play online when I can.

Another Beer Thread
Went shopping earlier and noticed my grocery store actually stocks a lot of the beers mentioned here. Didn't know where to start so I got my two Hearted Ale. Any suggestions for a clean, high abv ipa?

Saltwater Baits
When would be a good time to expect fish? I'm guessing incoming tide would be better than outgoing? Sorry, but I'm clueless when it comes to saltwater, lol.

Saltwater Baits
Also, I may eventually get a heavier rod for salt but I'm not sure how often I'll go. But if I keep getting skunked at the lakes and canals, I'll be there more.

Saltwater Baits
Thanks, snook. That's what I needed. A small list of things to get me going that I can fit in a pocket. Similar to what I do with my freshwater baits. Never fished a spoon before. Are they snag prone? This place in notorious for snatching lures. What about hard baits like bombers, rapalas , etc? At the moment, the heaviest leader material I have is 10# p line cxx that breaks close to 20#. Should I go heavier?

Saltwater Baits
I may need a new rod to handle the weight if I go that heavy. Here's the location I plan on fishing. Around the marina and the jetty. During high tide, the last half of it used to be underwater. Not sure if they've improved it since. https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=25.54066,-80.329585&safe=moderate&ie=UTF-8

Saltwater Baits
That's a bit too heavy for my gear but bucktails are on my list. I plan on using my bass gear so 1/4 - 5/8oz would be the weight I'm after.
