i dont have one favorite. the ones i do keep stocked are : *** 4" and 5" trick sticks AB 8" taper tails zoom speed worm zoom u tails zoom finesse worm. natural (baby bass and/or watermelon candy) and white shades are all i need.
  12. good stuff. i love grilling chicken but sometimes i char it or it comes out a bit dry. lower , indirect heat it is. i like to get some boneless breasts and marinate them in mojo with diced onions and green bell peppers for at least a few hours. sprinkle on some all seasoning and bam - delicious chicken. cheap , simple and amazing. im not too sure if our northern members know about teh mojo.
  13. the singer from Death has a killer voice.
  14. CXX is just great. either on a BC reel , as a leader or on a large arbor spinning reel.

;D thanks. a lot of the pics are from that spot or another on the same lake that looks very similar. great thing that alot of the people that fish this lake practice C & R. ill try to change up the background next time im out.
  16. id still use a leader. the albright/alberto is very compact. smooth casting also helps.
  17. used citica d with a shimano compre. i love mine. or a new citica E with a clarus. also a great rod but i havnt used the new citica.
  18. ive ended up with some nifty colors by doing that. i keep a bag of used plastics that ill re-use untill they either get thrown or are no longer fishable. sometimes the new color produced , sometimes it didnt.
  19. ive always wanted to learn to fly fish but all those choices of lines , flies , rods , leaders , tippets etc seem overwhelming to me. i almost picked one of those fly rod combos (pflueger or fenwick) but decided not to. would one of those be OK to start out with , or would you be better off with something else..? sorry to thread jack OP.
  20. since you are no longer under your previous user name , doesnt that disqualify you from earning your free post count lure?
  21. i loooooooooooooooove the coasters. ive been to cedar point , adventure island , a couple parks in hershey pa , six flags , bush gardens and a couple others im forgetting. i love it! ...except those wooden ones. the ones at the six flags in GA are just terrible. i thought i was going to die when i stepped off those things. they also have a metal one called the ninja or something like that. when i got off that one , i felt like i just got beat up. however , the streak (or blue streak , i cant remember) at cedar point and the montu at bush gardens in tampa fl are the smoothest wood coasters ive been on.
  22. this. i have the 602 that i picked up from ffo and that thing has hauled in some decent sized peacock and largemouth bass with out a single hiccup. i have it on a light power shimano clarus. its a realllly fun set up.
