  1. ew. i liked the first 15 seconds of it... when i didnt have my speakers plugged in.
  2. ive been fishing more and more with my light spinning rig , thus narrowing down what i have the most success with and what fits my fishing style. my light tackle box staples.. fluke jr. 4" lizard finesse worm cut tails 4" stick baits spook jr i like to have two colors of each. a green and a bait fish color. i take a few of each bait and put them in ziplock sammich bags so im not carrying a ton of plastic that wont even see water that day. a small assortment of bullet weights from 1/32-3/16 and some 1/0 ewg hooks. i sometimes carry , but dont throw often , small spinner baits and shallow cranks like rapala floaters and shad raps. anyone else doing the minimalist approach? what does your tackle box look like?
  3. #1 would be trying to figure them out. close seconds would simply be the enjoyment of being out on the water. it also depends on what goal/s i have set that day. i may be out trying new things to see how the fish and myself like them. other days i may go out and try to learn the bottom composition on some local lakes. but ultimately , im just trying to figure them out.
  4. 50# on baitcasters and 20-30# on spinning reels. leader size depends on the cover and/or what im throwing.
  5. 90+% soft plastics. i dont really throw much of anything else besides top waters , shallow cranks and spinners. the waters i fish are snag infested.
  6. this. i would of never tried it if i was told what it was. but man , that stuff is good with tortilla chips.
  7. BPS gift cards. picking up a st croix premier ML/F 2 piece soon.
  8. hit the lake for an hour or so today before we head up to NC. managed this guy who shot out of the brush and smashed a fluke jr. really pale in color. im sure these fronts arnt helping em much. happy holidays and stay safe everyone!
  9. this. congrats man.
  10. Hmm... I wouludn't accept one "deformed". For a snmall premium, Rage Tail baits are 100% due to premium packaging. I expect nothing less. Actually, one of the baits I received slightly deformed was the 7" Rage Tail thumper worm. It appears the thumper worms are not housed in a clamshell and are instead arranged loose on a flexible plastic sheet. Honestly though, I doubt any of this is due to the fault of the manufacturer. I had a lot of stuff in the package so my guess is that rough handling probably caused all the compression and deformities. old packaging. i have a couple bags without the clam but those baits are fine. also , with all the zoom plastics ive bought , ive only had a handful that were deformed. they were all still fishable though.

This new rap stuff out there right now is garbage. I'll 100% agree with you.But don't talk crap about the old school rap/hip hop. They would murder your favorite singers on a microphone very quickly. Your only 15 so i wouldn't expect you to know much about the older rap style.Matter of fact I bet these guys could spit words you never even heard of.So they are far retarded from your average spoiled new generation singers. Although I wouldn't have said it the same way, I've got to agree with this post. Older hip hop was great. Now it's just kinda...eh. ill have to give this a x2. we went from nas , do or die , krs one , three six mafia , shyne , 2 pac , wu tang and tons more...to soldier boy , drake and new lil wayne.
  12. eh. doesnt do anything for me.
  13. http://www.keenfootwear.com/product/ss10/shoes/men/trailhead/newport ? they are kinda ugly and a bit expensive , but a machine washable , water-safe shoe sounds interesting. ill check em out. thanks.

  16. im pretty picky about what shoes i wear. mainly because i dont buy them often and i make them last as long as possible. my two favorites are the adidas shell toe types and rebock classics. i dont run or play tennis though , so... as for wading , im still searching for a slide or flip flop that does well in water for extended periods of time. reefs keep catching my eye and are super comfortable , but $50 for a pair of sandals seems kinda pricey to me. has anyone owned a pair of reefs?
  17. fluke/jrs 4" and 5" stick baits kut tails
  18. http://fish.shimano.com/publish/content/global_fish/en/us/index/customer_service0/reel_maintenance_instructions.download.-mainParsys-0001-downloadFile.html/Maintenance%20Tips-%20Baitcasting%20Reels%20%282%20pages%29.pdf there is also a series of videos on youtube where a tech from shimano shows how to do basic maintenance. if youre doing it yourself , keep parts in the order they were taken off. when taking out springs and clips , use a clear ziplock bag so they dont shoot off and disappear. oil for bearings , grease for gears. good luck.

  22. so a part of epoxy on one of the guides on my clarus rod has cracked and flaked off. the threading was exposed and the end has came loose. i have already called shimano and was told that its more than likely a defect and would be covered under warranty. the rod is still fishable though. my thing is , im not sure if i want to pay to ship the one piece rod to get repaired or replaced just for that. i dont think its going to get any worse , but if it does , i dont want it to not be covered because of neglect. what would you guys do?
