  1. thanks again guys. we arnt making alot of progress , even after 13 hours. depending on how things look within the next couple hours , they may want to do a c-section... :-/ were both ready for whatever , but hearing that was a little unexpected...
  2. thanks! things are starting to move along now. those contractions are something else...
  3. thanks everyone! of course!
  4. or a laptop! too bad i cant access my work email to get some things done. funny things is , i think im more anxious than she is LOL. these past few days have been killin' me.
  5. we are here waiting on our little girl to make her appearance. got here at 7 am and my ADD is already going wild lol. she was due last tuesday but decided she was too comfortable to leave so now its eviction day.... :) :) :D :D
  6. im liking the 3" shad assassins i picked up. very easy to work but they sink hella slow. flukes too.
  7. my hair line is cutting back on the sides.... :
  8. tempting... i dont have that much to put in the box though...
  9. Shad Rap 5 and 7.
  10. i love me some flukes. i fish em all year down here , especially the jr's. i never leave home without 'em.
  11. how do the two brands (LC and R2S) compare? they both seem to put out quality baits , but i have never fished anything from either of them...
  12. cool , thanks guys. wow. thats deep. i wasnt trying to get that far into it. was just looking for suggestions lol.
  13. going to start doing my own oil changes again. the car is a 2001 accord v6 with 175k miles and the recommended oil is 5w30 iirc. i remember someone mentioning that i should use something heavier since its and older motor. true? any brand preference?
  14. now theres an idea. have a bunch of random suspending baits , a couple floaters and one of those guys. would make a great conversation piece. ;D ;D i agree on them looking like they wouldnt run right. the LCs sure do look better though... http://www.luckycraft.com/Virtual/Kingyo40.htm
  15. my favorite mono. I used 6# in green in my clear coral infested lakes with no problem.
  16. stumbled across this one. it looks interesting. http://www.river2seausa.com/t/goldncrank.html has anyone fished one of these? or any of their baits?
  17. for 100 bones , you could pick up a saros off fleabay.
  18. 100 bones on fleabay for me a saros....
  19. i love my 6'8" light river runner. ive pulled in a couple 3lb? LM and peacock bass without issue. since then , ive put a saros 1000 on there with 15/4 powerpro and that thing is a light power BA. too bad i cant seem hook into those 3lbers again. imo , a light rod will give you more options. not only in rod selection but what baits you can throw and catch fish with effectively. ive cought bass (and a carp!) with a 5' UL ugly stick. while its possible , i just prefer to catch em on light tackle. all the fun as UL , just with a bit more backbone ;D.
  20. i fish coral infested lakes also. i use 15 , 20 and 50 lb braid with a long leader and have no issues. i will check my line and retie when i need to.
  21. that is one beautiful fish. nice work

ill be throwing these on light tackle so the smaller fish are welcome lol. these mayan cichlid are fun little fish to catch. they can be very aggressive. ive actually seen one chase away larger largemouth and peacock bass on several occasions ;D.

i do have a popr that has caught a handful of fish , but it never really 'did it' for me. those mini craw cranks look like they have potential. BPS also has their own mini hopper and mini dad. never fished any of their house brand cranks though..

i had a couple rebel cranks before that ran like trash but their 'UL' cranks look interesting. can anyone comment on these? http://www.basspro.com/Rebel%C2%AE-Crickhopper%E2%84%A2-and-Bighopper/product/2958/-636658 http://www.basspro.com/Rebel%C2%AE-Bumble-Bug%C2%AE/product/39957/-955017 http://www.basspro.com/Rebel%C2%AE-CrickHopper-Popper%E2%84%A2/product/42539/-942311
