  3. Clever for someone who plays with his wood all day.
  4. I was out once and didn't have a bite. My son got one bite on Island Lake last weekend.
  5. As long as I live in the Chicago area, my boats will never see ethanol free gas. It doesn't exist here.
  6. Never had any issue running thru the truck. I generally dump 1-3 gallons of last years 50:1 gas/oil in the gas tank on an almost empty tank, every spring.
  7. I drove local to Chicago. My brother drives OTR and is an owner operator. He's been driving almost 40 years and has the luxury to pick and choose his loads. He's got a reefer trailer and gets a premium for hauling medical equipment, medical supplies, and pharmaceuticals. Runs a lot of the west coast.
  8. Drove a truck for 10 years after high school and then got into the trades. I'm a crippled pipefitter. Got a career ending injury in 2012. I manage a hvac supply house PM's
  9. Your breasts tell me different.
  10. Exactly
  11. If only RLR didn't have a cognitive condition
  12. It was never about 250hp and 100K boats. It's fishing. 12 years ago I got flack, here and elsewhere, paying $50K for a boat. That's cheap by today's standards. The boat didn't make me a better fisherman. It did make the labor burden to fish, much easier. I'm in a $400 boat now. In the next year or 2, I'm planning to be in a 6 figure boat and it still won't make me a better fisherman. It's just fishing. The boat does not make the fisherman. Pic is from a year ago this time. I'm hoping to take him out this weekend and this is what the sport is all about. Here he is driving the $50K boat
  13. Think of it as a fishing tax and it won't bother you as much.
  14. At a price point similar to the "made for fishing" jetski's, I'd choose the RIB tender.
  15. I've been doing mine parmesan encrusted. 1/2 parmesan 1/2 breadcrumb pan fried in butter.
  16. How'd you prepare them?
  17. Not sure what material I had my custom cover made of. The guy who made it did custom upholstery for antique cars, racing boats, and hot rod cars as his main gig. The factory towing cover lasted 4 years before it dry rotted. The custom cover was still as pliable, 6 years later when I sold the boat, as it was the day I picked it up.
  18. Deka deep cycle batteries. NAPA deep cycle are made by Deka and are more than likely less expensive than brand name Deka's
  19. Might be all I have left
  20. Guess the red rocket doesn't appear until a donation is made
  21. Fantastic jig paired with a creature bait. Great hook up rate. My only issue with this set up, is a good % of the bass I catch with these, the hook drives thru the fishes eye on the hookset. This was a go to for me until I discovered the jointed structure head.
  22. Just throwing this out there. I'm related/not related to a guy that does custom and restorations on amps. Family is divorced but still family. https://amprestoration.com/
