My opinion, I would refrain from the above plug and receptacle and get a Marinco twist lock plug and receptacle. Without the twist lock feature, you risk the plug loosening up over time and overheating becoming a potential fire hazard. As far as weight, I believe your Mr. Pike is rated for 150hp. The weight of your 115 2 stroke is going to be roughly 50lbs less than a 150 2 stroke and 200lbs less than a 115-150hp 4 stroke (Which brings up an interesting question if you wanted to repower with a current model 4 stroke.) Personally, I'd go straight thru the transom adding a tilt bracket if you need clearance for a garage or any low clearance bridges. It's how I did my 20 foot Lund.

I'm a little late to the game. I'm watching it for the first time since everyone bailed from BASS to compete. Yawn...Who wants to watch guys spend all day catching 1 pound bass? I can do that myself. This format evens the playing field. It takes a lot of the skill out of fishing. I don't want an even playing field when watching sports. I want to see the best guys compete at the top of their game.

Keeping on the subject of the original post, when I carry while I'm fishing, the people committing school shootings are not the people I need to protect myself from. The guy at the lake/ramp is going to be the crack/meth head breaking into vehicles or harassing fishermen. The belligerent drunk boater who believes he owns the lake. The belligerent homeowner who believes he owns the lake. The school shooters are at home in their parents basement writing their manifestos while playing Call of Duty.

Merry Christmas guys. Hoping to spend more time on the water next year. This year was full of family issues and I'm glad most of it is behind me. I haven't been on the water since July. I've got a lot of making up to do come ice out. The way the weather is going as of late, ice out might be in February. Come on spring!!!
