  1. You guys tip the artist? That's a new one on me.
  2. Amputate I think the fad is wearing. It peaked around 2000ish when everybody and their brother was getting them. I see it with mostly younger people now. I got my first one around 1987 and the last one around 1997, and will attest it to the motorcycle lifestyle. I no longer ride. My 21yo son has a couple and my 22yo stepdaughter has one. She went thru the piercing fad and I think she got hers to just get it out of her system.
  3. No, but I have used tequilla on fish, chicken, and shrimp.
  4. I hate everyone who is less inferior than I am - Archie Bunker
  5. Canadian Club 12 Year Old Classic Makers Mark Jack I was raised on Jim Beam and then I grew up.
  6. It was made at the Belvidere plant. Right now the plant makes the Jeep Patriot and Compass. They will eventually build the Dodge Dart here and the Jeep products are being phased out.
  7. I'm not understanding why the mechanic didn't go into a thourough diagnosis once he checked the compression.
  8. Slow drivers in the fast lane Women that never shut up Whiners The lazy youth of today and the parents that made them that way Your fault. Should check before you start.
  9. It looks like the biggest car topper I can get is 42" and those run 190lbs-215lbs depending on the mfg. I'd like to avoid getting a trailer If I don't have to, I don't have room in the garage and I already pay for storage on the other boat. and don't want the added expense of a welded hull. The boat will only be used a minimum number of times. At what weight does it become difficult to put and take the boat. Alumacraft 1448 is 250lbs. Tracker 1542 is 190lbs, G3 has a 1448 that weighs 233lbs. Is that feasable without a trailer?
  10. I didn't care for the comercial. Americas halftime should have been over a long time ago. My guess is the 3rd quarter is still a ways away. The Chrysler plant in Belvidere IL went from 3 shifts to 1 shift at the beginning of the automobile industries fallout. As of this week they are now back up to 3 shifts again. Progress at the taxpayers expense. Not sure I agree with that. My Tundra is made in Texas
  11. Cortizone cream will clear that up.
  12. Is a 36" wide jon stable enough for my fatazz to stand up and fish. I'm 6' 265lbs. Sick of ruining props on my deep v in a river I fish. Looking to get a 12-14' car topper to throw in the back of the truck. I figured the 42" wide may be a little difficult to put in and take out by myself. Already have the motor. Thanks
  13. 15 posts in a few years? Maybe you get out what you put in. See ya.
  14. 10-15ft dropoffs near shallow water/flats. The steeper the better.Look for rocks and gravel on shore and areas where rock changes to dirt.
  15. I take a trip there almost every year at the end of March. We stay in Benton Ky. If the water is at normal to low levels, crankbaits and spinnerbaits are probably your best bet fishing on main lake and secondary points. If the water is high fish in the backs of the creeks. Jigs, flukes, and senkos in the buck brush and flooded timber.
  16. A guy drown on my home lake yesterday. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/chi-fisherman-reported-lost-in-mchenry-countys-pistakee-lake-20120203,0,3113364.story
  17. If this thread continues about NAFC it will surely be locked. So let me be the first. IBTL If you're looking for free stuff, good luck with that. If you want opinions or reviews on stuff, you can get them here as well as Tackle Tour. If you want to try it before you buy it there are online stores that will let you rent a reel.
  18. 5% for me. Wish I could "dink drop 5 pounders"
  19. $19.99 and if you have extra, you can spray it on a screen door and use it as a backup bass boat.
  20. Don't know about his eyes but a good plastic surgeon can do wonders for the subject matter.
  21. I've been boarded once by the USCG, been confronted by them a few times for fishing too close to the nuclear and water treatment plants on Lake Michigan and confronted by Chicago PD. Only happens really early or really late in the season when no one else is on the water.
  22. I hope so. See you in 4 weeks
  23. Don't you have a couple warm water discharges up that way?
