  1. Hey everyone! Glenn eats kittens!
  2. Welcome from the ChiTown area
  3. Haven't tried the craws, yet. I haven't caught anything on the Rage Hawg. The Annoconda only catches walleye so it is not a bass bait. I am in need of trailers and will pick up a pack or two just to appease RW
  4. Bang on the head. If I'm going to bleed them, I cut the tail off while the fish is alive and let the heart pump the blood out of them.
  5. Bugged eyed bass Burrito bass Lotsoflox Antique pike No creel limit walleye
  6. Letme throw this in...Just because someone can afford to own a boat doesn't mean they can fish...
  7. Do what I do. Don't fish buzzbaits. Put on a jig and all your problems will go away.
  8. Be aware of the weather. Guys fish out of bass boats on the Great Lakes all the time. You may want to consider a muskie/walleye boat also.
  9. X2 The other thing you'll notice about boats on CL is the good boats for a good buy get scooped up quickly and there are alot of "Too good to be true" boats which are just that. I spent 6 months looking for a 14-16' jon for my son last year (I refuse to let him take out my boat unsupervised). I found a refurbished 15hp motor that I got for a steal...but no boat. They were either too expensive or had stuff wrong with them. Don;t get discouraged. You'll find something.
  10. J Franco, I know you can differentiate the male and female of the salmonoids by the jaw. Extends past the eye it's a male if it doesn't it's a female. Would you or anyone else know if that applies to other fish species?
  11. Mostly crappie Walleye Hybrid Freswater Tuna(20lb+king salmon)
  12. Not even worth a groansigh
  13. BPS can't be monetarily competitive with TW or BTD. They have stores nationwide and empoly thousands of people. Overhead means higher costs. They probably push their own brand because the markup is at a higher percentage. BPS also has the ability to sell clothing and boats and firearms which increases their target market tenfold. The other plus about having a physical location to shop at is you get to hold the rods and reels and see how they feel as well as look at the lures to see actual sizes and colors rather than a 1d pic on the computer screen. Those extra "perks" cost money. For me I spend more money shopping online but would much rather go into the big box stores to shop. I also am fortunate to have a Cabelas 10 minutes from the house and 2 BPS less than 45 minutes away. Have used Cabelas for alot of "in a pinch" purchases, especially stuff for the boat. Wouldn't want it any other way.
  14. Jigs Buckeye Mop jigs in PB&J and Northstar swim jigs in blue and black, and bluegill with Poorboys Kickin Darter as a trailer.

  16. X3 They no longer make the color "bluegill" which was, by far, my favorite.
  17. Got to be worth at least a half a buck at the scrap yard.

  19. I'm jealous. Hard water and 50mph wind gusts today. Can't wait til March. Hope your luck continues into the new year.
  20. First pic has some beautiful coloring.
  21. I'm no engineer but seems that would act similar to cowl induction on a muscle car. Multiple scoops in line with each other would cause a backpressure forcing air into the compartment. Same thing the windshield on the car does.
  22. Or he can just move him out to San Francisco J/K
