It doesn't show up here but it had the paypal logo on the header. The customer service rep said an email from them would address you by your first and last name not Dear Member. They're built, or at least used to be, like tanks. I haven't purchased one in at least 15 years. and that one I just had serviced for the first time last year because it was making noise. Like I said I can't seem to put it down. I have a C4 I got a few years ago and it's even bigger than the 3. I can cast that one but I normaly use it just for salmon or trolling.

I like the Abu C-3,4,5s. Do you still use them? Yeah, I cant seem to put them away for good. I'm using them for swimbaits and salmon fishing.

I have the Toro(not the winch) and it is a bit bulky but I bought it because I bass fish in water loaded with musky and didn't want a musky to f'up my reel. Spooled with mono. All I throw is cranks and spinners on it. I like it. Let me say this was my first quality low profile after using Ambasseduer C3's for the last 25 years, so I'm used to a larger reel.

The brakes and cast control are different. The cast control is the knob under the star drag which, after you depress the release will cause the lure to drop at different speeds. The lure should just barely drop. The revo sx has a magnetic brake adjustment. Set it to the highest # and then work your way down as you get more comfortable. Don't forget your thumb control. Rest it lightly on the spool when you cast. Again this is something that will take practice to learn how the cast feels.

Practice, practice, practice. What lb test are you using. If you have too heavy a line and too light a weight that will also cause problems. The section of the rod just in front of the handle will have a line weight and lure weight printed on it.

Deep fried. I use Don's Chuckwagon onion ring mix and cut it with beer instead of water. Brown sugar and soy marinade for large filets. Marinate in soy sauce or soy with chopped garlic for 15 minutes, sprinkle with brown sugar on both side of filet and pan sear both sides just long enough to carmelize the sugar and not burn it, mix more brown sugar with the soy and spread on the filet then bake in oven 10 minutes or so depending on the thickness. It's also good on trout, salmon, and boneless chicken breast.

I got got today. Went to Cabelas to buy a few gallons of 2 stroke oil and walked out with the oil plus 2 Fenwick HMG rods. I was planning on buying some rods anyway, but was going to do it with my tax refund, which I haven't received yet. Speaking of which. Does anyone know when TW will have their next sale. Those rods wont work without reels.

It's the line, not the knot. Spiderwire, in my experience, has a tendency to cut into itself. Had this problem a few years back. Diawa Samuari is the way to go. I know it's a bit more expensive then all the rest but I haven't lost a lure yet with it.

Could be your knot. I use an albright knot for braid to flouro. A dab of super glue (Many say you don't need it. Its more of a psycological thing for me)and cut the tags tight to the knot. If tied and snugged up properly you won't have an issue with it getting hung up in the guides.

I switched from a 70lb Powerdrive to the Powerdrive V2 with Ipilot on my 17' Mirrocraft Holiday. 60" shaft and universal transducer. If you already have the V2 you can buy a conversion kit and keep the same motor. 70lbs is fine in wind and current for my boat. I sold my 7 year old Powerdrive for $375
