Want To Start Trout/salmon Fishing
He wants help Zero and you want to parade him in front of PB and the wash? The few times each year I fish for great lakes salmon and trout, I will either fish in harbors or cast from the boat. All the above mentioned lures will work but I recommend Berkley Frenzys if you can find them. If you're going to use bass lures be sure to change out the hooks. A king salmons mouth is hard and bony and will bend just about any stock hook. I use 7'MH/rods with 15-17lb mono paired with Abu C3 ambassadeur reels.

Pre-Fishing
We all don't catch fish where we think they should be. In addition to what was said. Last year I spent alot of time running and gunning during prefish. Catch a keeper, go to a new spot, and so on. It helped me eliminate unproductive water. Then on tourney day I knew where fish should be and spent time adapting/finding a pattern. The results were better time management on tourney day. I cashed more checks last year than in years prior. Good luck.

Kvd 1.5 Rust Problems??
Less expensive hardware=a lower price point. When you're selling to essentialy "every" fisherman an affordable price is very important. If they were only marketing those lures to those of us who have "The Sickness" the pricepoint matters less and quality matters more.

One Lure Tournaments
It would have to be a jig tied to braid. I think any and every other type/style of lure would be a higher risk to lose or damage. Also the jig is the most versatile. It can be fished shallow, deep, in open water, in cover...

Ice Maker?
Manitowoc makes a good unit. They are always trying to come up with more effecient was to make ice, Every few years they come out with a new model and as with most products the first year or two on the market all the glitches are found and need to be worked out. Hoshizaki on the other hand sells essentialy the same machines today as they did 15 years ago. They've made minor upgrades but that's about it. Hoshizaki has found something that works and perfected it. Don't worry about Manitowoc. They still build top of the line cranes and ships.

Ice Maker?
Fish Chris, Sorry, I don't know anything about "home" ice machines but I suggested to FL Sharpshooter another option is to purchase a chest freezer and some large plastic bags. You can make, bag , and store ice at your leisure. You'll also have frozen storage for fish or meat or whatever.

The Lure Swap to set the record straight.
Unless it gets lost.Let's say in...IL somewhere. I actualy had a dream about it last night. I hope what's in the box is better than what was in the dream. It appeared to be a box full of miniature squrrel pelts with hooks in them. Maybe I should cut down on the whiskey.

Ice Maker?
They're not cheap. Hoshizaki IMO makes the best unit out there. 2nd would be Manitowoc, 3rd Scottsman. I would NOT recommend Ice O Matic. I don't know if it matters but different brands make different types of cubed ice and you can also get machines that make flaked/crushed ice. They are rated by "pounds" which means how many pounds of ice they will produce in a 24hr period. You'll also need a bin sized appropiately. You'll need to figure out your usage so you can buy the correct size unit. Any more ??? let me know I have been installing and repairing ice machines for 15 years.

Snow
85 last Sunday. It rained the past 3 days. Light snow yesterday. Wind was blowing 30 today and 34 degrees this morning. Tourney yesterday was cancelled due to 40mph winds. Had my first tourney of the year today on the same body of water and water temp had dropped 7 degrees since last weekend. 2" of snow forecasted tonight.

I don't know what type of church you attend but mine has pews that do not have holes in the bottom of them. Confuscious say: "He who farts in church sits in his own pew"

I beg to differ. The REAL question is: "How do blind people know when they're done wiping?"

Drift Socks
If you're going to use a drift sock to drift, try using a second sock on the stern or one on the stern in conjunction with the TM like in this vid

Fouled Plugs = Carb Issue???
The speedo on my truck goes to 120mph but I've never had it over 90. Do you suggest I run it at full load? I agree with everyone else. It's the idleing that is causing the issue.

Toilet Paper Size
I believe you've gotten your answer. If food is being packaged smaller, then consumption is less. If consumption is less then of course the end result will be smaller "fudge brownies" (not to be confused with Girl Scout cookies) hence smaller TP. That was easier to figure out than that algebra problem in the other thread.
