No offense Hot Rod but financing a boat for 20 years is not good advice. The finance charge may eventualy cause someone to be upside down in their boat and would never be able to get their money back out of it.

If your credit is decent expect to pay 7 or 8%. Also here in northern IL. there are banks located in "boating" areas that often give better rates than banks that give mostly car loans. The credit union rates should be more favorable than a banks.

Fox Chain is loaded with musky. I catch plenty of them while bass fishing. Stupid fish destroy my bass lures . The creel limit is 1 @ 48" but I've never seen a musky leave via stringer. Lots of fish in Channel/Catherine Lake year round and early season in Spring Lake. I've seen huge fish but have only caught fish in the 24"-34"range. Best luck on topwaters and, believe it or not, senkos.

This is true. He spoke during the press conference after the win and was using 20lb flouro because he wasn't fishing deep. For some reason 6'6" MH stands out in my mind about the rod. I could be wrong.

Never fished musky at Shab but it has given up 4 or 5 state records. Areas 3-14 are supposed to be prime musky spots in the spring. I know they do have issues with them going over the spillway and have organized musky rescue outings.
