  1. 1- Pink/Chart. 2- White 3- Green/Red All of those i like with a silver Colorado, and a gold Willow leaf combo. But if the water is murky, i like dual silver Colorado's.
  2. any month is good as long as im out on the water fishin ;D
  3. Yea, change to another fishing show. lol thats funny, but yeah im agreeing with everyone here. I just wasnt sure of it and i never thought of it. So when a professional brings something up like that its your first decision to believe it. Thanks a lot though guys
  4. at all times i always have these 3 rigged up. the others depend on the time of day/ weather etc. 1-Spinner Bait. 2-Super Spook Jr. 3-Some sort of soft plastic, preferably and 10" worm. I use the spinner bait as a fish finder. Cover lots of water quick and if i get into a bite, i'll switch over to a plastic. But when the bite is on, spinner bait is always killer
  5. as much as i love to see that spinner bait myself, there is a time and place
  6. Skor chocolate bars and lots of water/coke Turkey w/ mayo, pepper, and mustard on a bun

  9. i heard a guy on t.v., cant remember who it was, and he said that while he was fishing with some sort of soft plastic that he would never "drop his rod" before setting the hook. his theory was that when you do this, causing the line to go limp, actually causes the bait to fall out of the fishes mouth. any thoughts?
  10. i've caught perch on them, all the way up to 4 pound bass on them. and everything in between. (this is ontario 4 is a great bass) obviously not trying to catch that perch on it, but they are GREAT for big bass
  11. as much as we all like to fish top water, there is a time and place, and sometimes there isnt a time or place to use them
  12. spinner baits are my favourite bait. and they double as a very very good wake bait. when fished right under the surface the blade rotation creates a big wake. just so it bulges the surface not breaking the surface, or get a sebile yeah thats what i mean
  13. hey there, i inherited a 7'0" medium action musky rod. the reel on it has 50 pound braid. just wondering if this rod is to heavy for bass fishing, if not, any help on baits that work very good with this combo is really appreciated, thanks a lot!

  15. i have had a lot more success with a zara super spook jr. and more than likely the fish didnt miss the bait, you probably tried to set the hook to early. its very hard but you have to have extreme patience when a fish hits. making sure to give it enough time to get it in its mouth
  16. thats not true.. well unless your talking about further south but up here there (ontario) there is a season for everthing
  17. how much did that weigh in at? looks like a solid 4
  18. it seems to me that the fish do need access to a bit deeper water i dont i wouldnt know why, but maybe just googling it up would give you an answer
