Keep in mind that while fishing Barbless, your bound to lose a few fish...so keep the pressure on them, and try not to let them jump.. The hooks will just pop right out.

i agree, get the hardgill..It swims Very well..I like the slowsink, but the floater is a killer when dead sticked..

Ha, you should try lipping a saltwater spotted bay bass..no fun sometimes. I find if you gently grab them over their gills, they Stop fighting you..then you can use pliers or whatever to remove the hook, or get one of those lip griper things..

I would get a MHF, although I like an XF..if there are no trees, bushes ect to limit your room for casting, then a 7 footer would be a good choice.

I actually it use for saltwater bay fish. i.e. Spotties, sandies, and hali's..with a 3-4" big hammer..or a 3" grub..and yep, they do bite em..

Never used em, but have read reports of guys catching some real nice bass on them.. Go fishing, and tell us what happened..

There's a couple of guys making furry rats...for big bass baits...Hope you catch some nice fish with those..

I wrap my hand in a rag, and wind the braid around my hand a couple of times...and steadly pull. Make sure there's enough line at the end of the rod, as not to break the rod...trust me on the one.. :-[ W/o a rag, you can cut your hand pretty easy..and unless your hooked to a good sized tree, you'll get the lure back..Just stay away from rocks.. ;D Oh, my braid..55lb Diawa Samuri.. 8-)

Just got a new laptop last week. Every site I visit has been loading pretty quick compared to the old out dated laptop I had been using for the last 4 yrs..Anyway, as of yesterday 7/3..BR began loading Really slow..slower than it ever has. I've cleared the cookies, ect..to no avail. Anyone else having issues with BR loading extremely slow..? BTW, I tried everything I know, before posting this..

I fish Ika's pretty often, in High Pressure city park lakes. One thing I found was, if the sit there, twitch repeat doesn't seem to work. I'll toss it out there, let it sit for 20-30 secs. then pop it about 12" off the bottom, and let it fall on semi slack line, you Need to take up the slack as quick as possible, as 99% of the time, they will hit the Ika on the fall. They tend to inhale the Ika's, so it's easy for the bass to get hooked deep...so be ready.
