  2. i use the falcon bucoo 5-17 its designed for lipless cranks ,,,i am trying to deecide what reel to put on it though i have a older daiwa and am trying to decide on either the new quantum kinetic pt or spend extra money on the quantum kevin van dam pt from bass pro ?
  3. well i also wish i could get the surade in a 6.3.1 ,,,,i dislike 7.1.1 reels as i fish too fast now,,,,so my citica is stuck as it is,,,,,,,when considering the knobs + everythig else the curado i more than 60 dollars better than the citica to me

  7. anybody got one likes or dislikes,,,,,hows it compare to maybe a revo s,,,,is it a low profile reel.......overstock.com has them for 75.00 and well i bought my first two shimanos in 09 a curado e5 and a sahara 3000 and love them ,,,,thanks for replies and help ?
  8. dont know if youve seen it or not but st,croix mojo has a 7ft6" pitchin rod with moderate fast action ,,,,,,it has the backbone you need and the flex ,,,,also look at falcon lowrider rods their hevy rods have lots of flex imo.......i bought the kistler carbon steel casting rod 7ft mh 12-25 1/4 to 1 and its been good for pitching jiga,,,,and ive used it for liplees cranks with no trouble as well

  10. roda you have are three styles i use most,,,,i have about 10 however the one i also use the most when i carry just 4-5 rods on quick trips is an all star 826c jerkbait rod its 6'10" long has a moderate fast action,,,,its built on the same frame as the pitchin stick though,,,,,i use it for jif fishing, pitching,,,,deep diving crankbaits the works,,,,,good do all rod for me
  11. how well does the 10 or 12 # siege cast ? I use pline cxx in 10 lb and its plenty strog for about anything stuff just doesnt break but ive heard siege was more manageable
  12. Anyone used these heard anything about them etc ? they have a 5 year waranty ...my local gander mountain has the im6 series flipping stick marked down to 59.00 ,,,,,
  13. well its less than year ive been on water 20 times,,,if out of fluid shouldnt i hear the thing running anyway ?

I think this is a legitimate complaint,,,i buy from cabelas when ordering online if they have what i want....bps takes too long on shipping and its on their end ,,,,,they dont get stuff out their door like others do...and with cabelas they always have deals or specials for 25 bucks off or 20 off or free shipping etc,,,
  17. bought a 7ft mh at academy grand opening in decatur al.....i used it sunday and itsa well worth 40 bucks,,,,well worth it,,,i fish team all star im10 rods and theirs not much difference
  18. well thanks for the help ,,,,,saturday i primed the bulb until firm and and pushed choke in and second try its running,,,,i may have been flooding it ,,,i have a yamaha 4 wheeler that is a cold starting rascal as well !!!!thx for yalls help it cleared things up for me
  19. what getsme is after it is started for first time i can breathe on it and it fires right up all day and nextday two but if it isnt used for 4-5 dsays it wont start for the first 5-9 cranks !
  20. its a 50hp yamaha 2 stroke virtually brandnew been cranked about 30 times total ....i go every sat or sunday .....i prime the bulb till tight and choke but it wont turn over till about the 10 try,,,,,,,,,,now after it turns once i can breathe on it and the thing will fire up , please help i hate being dude at the ramp who cant get his motor cranked ,,,especially when ive got a brand new one !!!!
  21. unboxed my e5 and placed it on my all star assr crankbait rod,,,,tied on berkley 100% fluorocarbon and a 3/8 oz strike king crank ,,,adjusted reel for lure weight and flung the lure into anew timezone ,,,only caught 5 fish all under 3 punds but it handled well,,,feels good and cast farther than both my revos and sx im sorry revo guys it just does ,,,,,,,still gonna keep my revo sx for my pitching rod cause of andf my revo s for spinnerbait/worm rodas they do their job too and im a revo guy,,,,but if i buy another reel itll be another curado ,,,probably the e7
  22. i live in north alabama near guntersville lake,,i just bought a 1648 with decks and 43lb trolling motor with a 2008 model 50hp yamaha with eight hours on it for 4600 been on lake 8 weekends in a rtow now and knock on wood no problems boat does almost 40mph and plenty stable on the casting decks ,,,,,,
  23. i use revo s and sx's but today my curado e5 was delivered ,,my first shimano ,,,got it for a crankbait reel and cant wait to give it a fling....i like my revos though the sx i use for light flipping pitching and the s i like better than the sx for casting,,,,,ill have a report on the new curado e5 tomorrow
  24. well that helps me out ,,much appreciated,,,,im allready tired of raising my t motor to pull hydrilla or milfoil out of the prop......lately just finding flats and drifting with both motors up...... i also just bought a humminbird 565 and am worried about mounting the transducer ,,,,,any help or tips thier id greatly appreciate as well
  25. ive got a motorguide 4 743 trolling motor,,,,it pulls boat good even in wind for my needs,,,,however id like to have one that cut milfoil better....any prop suggestions,,,,and how do i tell what size prop i have ?
