Kicker Kraws
Hey everyone, I came across a bait researching for my next tournament and I can not find much about it. It is the Kicker Fish Bait Co. Kicker Kraw. Has anyone used these, or know anything about them? I've been fishing for 20 years and never heard of these. Any help is greatly appreciated. Wdy

What The Fluke?
Enjoy it, you're in high school and have the rest of your life to work for a living. Be responsible, most different varieties of lures are not need, but general types are. Meaning, find one or two different types of cranks and stick with them, or same with flipping plastic craws. Save up for a nice car though! A nice car equals a better looking girlfriend and in high school, that is a win!!!

Carolina Rig Reel Needed
I just started to learn this method. So, a 7 to 1 reel is the appropriate speed?

What The Fluke?
Try them on a C-rig as well.

Contact Mike at Delaware Valley Tackle. I had the same thing with my Pfluger and he fixed it right up. Plus, he uses a super lube and really helped my 50e. Good luck

Buggs Island
Thype, Yesterday was a good day of fishing, but I didn't get the size. I caught about 12, mainly on shakey head, Lake Fork Hyper Finesse worm,, green pumpkin on a 3/16" green pumpkin head, and a 5" green pumpkin/watermelon senko. That Lake Fork worm was pretty effective! My boater was using a green pumpkin finesse worm and I would cast to the same place when it came even with the back of the boat and I would get the bite. The senko was on fire to! Watermelon side down. I caught three in 20 yards going down one bank, but again all under 14". I only weighed two because of the size limit there. I did miss two more keepers (on that senko), one when I was on the phone, yes I know, I know. My boater weighed four and probably had 8-9 lb. skipping docks in the afternoon with a green pumpking senko with a "JJ's," tipped tail. I actually caught more then he did, but he caught a larger number of bigger bass. Our winner caught his on C-rig, using a Zoom lizard, I believe Junebug, and second place mainly on Brush hogs, flipping brush, I believe it was a green pumpkin. The winning weight was like 11 lbs. Everyone caught a high number, but little size, I think the biggest bass I saw was like 4lb. then probably 2.5lb. The winner and second place went a different direction and had clear water to fish. We went the other. We launched out of Rudd's creek to give the location. PM me and I can point you in the direction where we fished. But, again nothing to great a size. We maily beat the the banks, trees in the morning then docks in the afternoon. Nothing on crankbaits on anything else, but I did hear of other people catching bass on cranks at the dock. I did use a 1/2oz. sexy shad spook early in the morning and didn't get a strike. Hope that helps! Wdy

Buggs Island
Thype Thanks, I was thinking about doing that same tatic! I was going to use the Money Dog, I think that is what it is. But, it is the soft plastic stick back that is a Zara Spook, but you just use a 5/0 hook. I figured that would be a different enough change compared to what they might have been seeing. Especially considering there is a Federation tournament today there. Thanks again! Wdy

Shakey Vs. T-Rig Worming
Shakey heads just seem to work so well here in the VA waters. Normally, give me a Rapala DT series, or something like that and let me make long casts. But, the last three tournaments all had people in the top three using a shakey head. Thanks guys,

Shakey Vs. T-Rig Worming
Ok, I have a quick question. I have a tournament this weekend and I am a little late to the shakey head fishing game. It really has never been a big weapon in my box. But, I was planning to use this method this weekend, so I have no confidence in it at all! I was thinking about taking say a Zoom Finesse worm and fishing it bullet weight (3/16 oz & 2/0 hook EWG) and fishing it T-rig. Are those methods close enough to be effective, or do I need to take a tournament on the chin and get my shakey head "sea legs," together? If so, any tips, tricks, superstitions are greatly appreciated!! Wdy

Impressions Of The Rage Bug
I hope they come in Falcon Craw! A Rage Craw in Falcon Craw is DEADLY on the James River! Waiting on them being released in TW. I've already called my local tackle stores and they don't know when they will be released.

Buggs Island
BigBass, Thanks for the knowledge I really appericate it a lot! A couple of years ago I popped a 5lber on the first cast there with a DT-6 Helsinki shad similar to how you suggested to fish it so, I am glad that method is still holding true. I was also thinking about throwing a Spook Sexy shad color in the morning. Have you had any success with those there? Thanks again BigBass! Wdy

How Do I Fishing Very High Water
I fished a tournament at Chesdin about a month ago. The same weekend NASCAR was here, remeber that storm that rolled in Friday night Reb? So, we faced the similar conditions. The winning person did it on flipping under boat docks with a trick worm wacky rigging in the north end. Hope that helps!

Grandebass Rattlesnake
I have some and used them, but no success. I do like them a lot, all the water they move. I use normal T-rig, and yes fish real similar to a senko.

How Do I Fishing Very High Water
Reb, Good luck post how you do. I am in Short Pump and yeah, we have had a lot of rain here lately. I haven't been able to crack the high water problem either. I do think Fishing in Trees has the right approach. I assume you are fishing Anna, or Chesdin? Again, good luck! Wdy
