Yeah, I had a great time! Sorry I lost that bass. I hooked her on my 7'-2" MH extra fast tip rod w/ 12# line and could not turn her head. I think I had the drag a little loose for a fish that size. Had her on for about 10 seconds and that was it. Would have been nice to catch her and embarss some of the older fellows in the group. But, at least it is good to know I still have the magic "touch," with crankbaits. My crankbait DVD will be coming out this winter followed by my other DVD "How to get shot down by Women in 5-words or less." LOL!!!!

Well, I am not crazy about heat and humidity, but I am in Virginia so........kind of use to it. Thanks for the opinions! That seems to be what I have been hearing from outdoorsmen. Take care, Wdy

Hey everyone, I might be getting a job in Alexandria, Louisiana in the next week or two, but I wanted to see about the fishing in that area. Everyone tells me if I like to fish or hunt I will like it there. I am up in VA now fishing so, I am sure there is a big difference between the two areas. What are the main bodies of water down there to really focus on? Also, i assume there are a lot of bass clubs down there to join. Thanks in advance, Wdy

Yeah, I have been using a 4" weightless senko and have only noticed about another 15' in distance gained.

good topic, I was just using this line with a 4" weightless Senko. I a running to church now, but will be back on and post what I think later today. I did notice some increased distance with the Nanofil, but not as much as I expected.

yeah, I am a Shimano guy and almost bought a Lew's this past Friday. But, I have never heard anyone say anything bad about the Lew's reels. You should be happy with it!

So, I have not been fishing so much lately. I am studying to get my PE (Professional Engineer license) and I walked into a local fishing store in Ashland VA. Well, lets just say I was temped to buy everything in the store fishing related. I wanted to get a new spinning reel, found a couple of nice rods, of course you can never have enough senkos, etc. Wow, I dont know if I was more conscious of what I wanted or needed. Bait Monkey is the devil! I love fishing, but bait monkey almost put me in the poor house. Maybe it was the sudden exposure to all the tackle my senses could not handle. Anyone else have similar issues?

There seems to be a hiccup with Verizon on this one. I totally understand what you are saying, but the IT fellow at my work knew what I was talking about and downloaded something to my work PC. At home when I plug it into my PC I get the option to charge (on the phone side) and nothing happens. That's what makes me think it is an update for the PC, but as with women and computers I am terrible in dealing with both. Thanks for the suggestion Bass

Hey guys, I have a Casio G'Zone Commando phone that needs the C771 update, a driver. I tried searching for some of them, but either not sure I can trust the site or the site wants me to join to get it. Does anyone have this update so I can charge my phone off my computer? I went out this morning fishing in the same spot. I used some Berkley Wiggle Shad (3" shad with a paddle tail) on a jig head nothing. Switched to a Zoom white tube, nothing, 4" senko black/blue and got one. He was about 12", but he swallowed the hook, Ugh!! 2/0 hook. I was smacking at the mosquites and let line go slack for a 15 seconds. I gave him the hook, it was deep and he was already starting to bleed. (super ) I live about 10 minutes from this place so, I'll take all the suggestion and apply them. Thanks for all the help guys!!
