  1. LOL, my wife just agrees with everything i say(fishing related) in hopes that i will go away! CONGRATS on your victory too! A jig/pig is a very versatile bait that works year round if you know the when/where and hows of it!
  2. I found them to be too bulky and not very sensitive! But for $80 they are great!!! I would go with a Powell or a Kistler. IMO, Powells are more sensitive and a lot stronger as well though!
  3. Make sure there is always some Spro Bronze eye frogs and Rage Tail toads in your box and you are set!!!!!
  4. Do a search, this has been discussed numerous times recently!!
  5. Go to http://www.powellco.com/ and click dealers, that will give you a complete list of them. Many have it in stock with free shipping!
  6. Your playing right!?! http://www.***.com/descpageRDCPOWELL-PCFR.html FREE SHIPPING!!!!!!!!!
  7. Lets ban Long Mike...................................start a poll for it, LOL!!! ;D
  8. One thing Powell owners will tell you is that the flippin'/froggin' rods are very under rated! I have the 735 and the 765 MH and they are absolute beasts! They have just the right amount of tip to launch frogs but have the backbone of a telephone pole! My MH flippin stick is stouter than any H power rod i have owned!
  9. Dangit Koopa, make up your mind man! LOL
  10. I got another flippin' stick one step down from what i had and I LOVE IT! I used it today and all is well(for mow anyways)!
  11. 1/4oz spinner baits 1/4oz Rat-L-Traps Chug Bug bobbers/live bait hooks 2/0-4/0 EWG hooks Senkos
  12. I am like Muddy, i prefer a regular graphite rod for cranks! Although i do own two BPS Crankin' stick set-ups. Glass mixed rods just feel like they are too flimsy and can't get a hook set on em!
  13. When you rig them you are not suppose to slide that weight through like a T-rig man! Put the hook point in position and then insert the eye from the bottom up. Then tie the line to the hook(that's how i do it)! Also, your gear sounds a bit soft for the soft swim baits. I use at least a MH/F 7ft rod and 17lb line for them. You need a lot of backbone in the rod to penetrate the hook out of the lure and into the fishes hard mouth!
  14. Hey, no fair Muddy.......................................i wanna be a MOOK!!!!!
  15. I prefer a weightless feather myself!
  16. We're not supposed to do that? :-? OH BOY..................................................... :-X
  17. GEEEEEZ, dump your used motor oil there too while your at it!!!!!
  18. I agree with the above as well! I put mine in match boxes then in ziplock bags(safety) and toss em!
  19. When worm fishing the reel is not used to retrieve the lure(if you are fishing it right)! The rod is used to work worms/jigs and the reel is used simply to pick up slack! And that is where the high speed comes in.
  20. I have the same problem man! I get so anxious and excited before a trip that i cant sleep even if i lay down early! That and the darn kids................................................. I have found one good way to get wore out though! Dont know if i can tell ya here though, LOL!!!!
  21. One of my co workers has a 98 and never stops raving about it! I have been out with him in it many times and it is an awesome boat indeed!!!
  22. Seems like you keep answering your own questions man! If there is no need for one than get something else! I keep 3 dedicated flippin' rigs in the boat all the time. Two 7' 6" and a 7' 3" as well!
