Man that is exactly what happens to me! If the fish stop biting for 20min my bro or bud is ready to go! I call them the "wisher men"!!!! ;D

Some even say that a high speed reel will lock up on you if you try and winch a fish in say heavy cover. I flip and pitch slop with all 7:1:1 Revos and have never had this happen to me. I use slower reels for swimbaits and deep cranks only! BTW, have you ever fished a deep crank on a high speed reel....................not fun man!!!

Like Francho said, some will stick together really bad if the salt is not present! The Yum Wooly Hawgs are bad about that!

Like stated above, i catch more fish when i am alone. Not sure if it is the less noise or more concentration? But sometimes i just want to take my bro or buds and have a good time out with them as well!

I would recommend Powell Max 704C, Kistler Argon 7' 1" or a Shimano Cumara(closer in weight). I have all three brands and love them all. Although the Powell is the best for the $ IMO.

Maybe prolonged exposure but i doubt rain will do it! This past Sat i dropped one of my Revo STX and a Kistler rod overboard. Took about an hour to fish it out with a big treble hook, LOL! No damage that i could see after opening it.
