  4. YES!!!smoother on retrieve also.far less wind knots. What, no pic of the braid box!?!
  5. That reel along with the SilverMax are excellent for the $! I own both and love them equally! They cast a mile and are very smooth, not to mention strong! Both can be had on Ebay new for about $40 too!
  6. Get em Muddy..............................fight till the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D
  7. You have made me VERY HAPPY Mr. O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Pretty much what i do! I like a crank rod with a lot of backbone and a soft tip. The tip is mainly for when the fish jumps it won't shake the hooks!
  9. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_61257_100005001_100000000_100005000_100-5-1 In the shad colors
  10. Exactly what mine does, LOL!!! Congrats to your lovely GF too!
  11. Spro and rage Tail frogs
  12. I need some of those shads asap!!!
  13. I love my Storm Rattle craws even though i seem to be the only one that buys these things at Wally World! They produce anytime of year for me!
  14. I have used the new FireLine Braid and suffix and liked the FL a lot better! Is is way limper and casts further. Also, the color fades a lot slower than the others! IMO it is way stronger as well. I hooked a huge gator(accident) with the FL in 65lb and i made that sucker do a couple back flips!
  15. FireLine is a lot rounder, therefore it is limper and casts further than PP! Also, it makes a lot less noise coming through the guides. It fades less/slower than PP and it is way stronger too. Oh yeah, thinner diameter for the same lb test as well.
  16. Man oh man, i can hardly wait for some of those!!!!!!!
  17. Man, you actually still use Vanish!?! That stuff is crap(yes i used it)! Get you some BPS XPS or some 100% Trilene fluoro!
  18. i do that every time i fish , have you tried it ??? mine works perfectly 8-) Nope, mine never made it past mono than it broke!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. He knows his stuff, that's for sure! A spinnerbait will go into places most would never think it could and come out as well!
  20. And some lures that cost 15 bucks are not wort the dough either! Just because you spend a lot of money on something does not make it more effective Side by Side I use Rapala DT's and Mann Cranks and Bruce uses Luck Crafts, and our catches on most days are identical. My friend Dan; guides for Muskies and Smallies , His #1 Smallie Crank is a bait called a Lhur Jensen Speed Trap, he gets em for 5 bucks a pop. Very true Muddy! I bought the Strike King Shad swimbait for $22 and the Spro BBZ-1 for $21. The Strike King was nowhere near as good as the Spro. Goes to show all lures in the same price range are not created equal..................
  21. Slap some braid on it and fish it in some nasty cover and than see what happens........................
  22. I own both $5 Berkleys and $200+ Oakleys and Burley is right! There is no replacement for quality!
