Recommendations For Fluorocarbon
I've only used their Red Label and find it to be very manageable. It seems their Red Label line diameters are lower than other equivalent fluoro's for the same pound weighting so they will break sooner. You just need to account for that and get an appropriate diameter version.

Revo sx or BPS PQ
I believe the parts are interchangeable between the 2, per what others have said on here. The PQ would give you dual braking and cost less in the event you decide baitcasters aren't for you. You should also add the Citica to your list for consideration.

revo sx left handed models on sale !!!
Several on here have said last year's SX was finicky due to the mag only braking, so it may not be a good starter reel compared to one with centrifugal brakes.

revo sx left handed models on sale !!!
Dual control = magnetic brakes + centrifugal brakes The SX has mag only.

Overwhelmed!!!
What Bob said. Here's a link with some good info as well: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1170958187 It's actually not that complicated. I started from a 15 page pamphlet by Gudebrod (30 years ago) that showed how to bend a pair of coat hangars to use as your rod holder for the wrapping. The only "must", imo, is the rod dryer. They can be had on ebay for cheap: http://cgi.ebay.com/ROD-DRYING-DRYER-MOTOR-KIT-6-RPM_W0QQitemZ360245315023QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item53e04b45cf Get an extra tower and, viola, you have your rod holder. Those Kevin Brotz videos on mudhole show you how easy it really is. Watch them.

Learning the Senko...
Bill Dance had a good episode on the Senko - it was called "Dinger Slinger". Google that and watch it; it's actually pretty good.

your favorite knot for braid and fluoro
Is the only difference between these 2 the number of wraps? (4 vs. 7)?
-
Core 51
I have a Core 51 and it will throw those baits just fine. I also have several Revo S's and a Diawa Zillion that also throw those baits just fine. The morale of the story is any good baitcaster will work well for what you described as light baits.

Do You Apply Cork Sealant To Your Rods?
A mix. I prefer the feel of the cork without U40 but like the look of the cork sealed with U40.
-
Braid-to-Fluoro
I used to use the uni to uni; I have since switched to Alberto's knot. Much stronger, longer.

Few New Builds
What do you print them on (decal paper) and with (inkjet? laserjet? other?)?
-
New Video! Alton Jones!
Very nicely done. When you learn new interesting things about someone well known, you know you did a great job with the interview.

curado roughness
Could you be a bit more specific?

Greasing gears in a reel, what's the proper way??
You may want to flush in some degreaser in the line guide, and then blow it out with an air compressor. Many times you'll get granules of dirt hidden in there that you can't get to without some stout air.

BAITCASTING REELS
What is your definition of lightweight lures? 1/4 oz? 1/8oz? Weightless senkos?

KVD's winning bait
What did he say about how he fished it? That's got me curious.
-
Braids, braids, braids - so much confusion???
They used the Alberto knot for their fluoro leader - sweet.
-
How many rods and reels have you lost in the lake?
Spoon - pretty sweet how you seeded your lake with a Zebco 33 and it grew into a Curado combo. 0 for me, but last fall a bud in another boat lost his favorite Rick Clunn combo off his foredeck when blasting between spots. Surprisingly he never even saw it fly off.

BaitMonkey won´t release it´s grip
It is a man-bag. ;D ;D

Few New Builds
Very nice. I like the metal band on the butts; a nice touch.

Replacing eye on rod
There is a kit for tip repair, but only for tips, not for the other guides.
-
Replacing eye on rod
Any pics or can you elaborate on how broken the eye is? i.e. is it the insert? has the eye/insert broken off from the foot (of the guide)? Getting it fixed at a tackle shop should cost around $15-20. If you did it yourself you'd spend that amount on a new guide, thread and finish.

mhx rod blanks
kbk - not sure how you're going to do an "almost full cork handle" but not have any cork below the reel seat screw. For guide spacing, mudhole has several links on their site for various spacing suggestions. The MHX blanks are extremely fast - faster than the Avids(SCIII) and as faster or slightly faster than the Legends (SCIV).

New Kevin VanDam Video!
"I'm with arguably one of the best anglers of our time." Come on Glenn, arguably? Seriously? Btw, if you run into either Kevin or Zona again, ask them if they are going to improve their dismal showing in the CalibaMich Cup..

mhx rod blanks
I am in the process of building 3 up. The blanks are very light and extremely fast; I have very high expectations for them.
