  1. I'm a dumb cajun, I always work up hill, this keeps my lure in contact with the bottom. Texas Rigs, Jig-n-Craws, or Carolina Rigs.
  2. Structure is the cake, cover is the icing! The cake got your attention, the icing made you say, I want that. Same with the bass, the structure got em there, the cover made em say, i wanna be right there.
  3. Whatever I got tied on! I'll do it with double Colorado or double willowleaf. Y'all need to quit looking for the "perfect" spinnerbait for each scenario & learn how to fish what's in your hand!
  4. Why can't you store it at home?
  5. Unless it's Gorilla snot (algae) or matted I can get a spinnerbait through it. I guarentee it ain't the spinnerbait, it's the spinnerbait fishermen. Learn to flip-n-pitch that spinnerbait in & around cover. You don't have to cast a country mile get a spinnerbait to work. 3 or 4 turns of the handle can trigger a bite. I get a lot of bites letting it helicopter down in openings.
  6. Fish the structure under the "vegetation". Regardless of the type of cover look at the structure first.

  8. Just a wild & crazy idea I bet if you were to give our members a heads up of your itinerary we could find someone to put you on fish.
  9. I fish out of a aluminum boat, them shorts ain't gonna get it! Did add some exercise, pulled a ham string, & been on crutches for 2 weeks. That'll build your arms & shoulders!
  10. @john nowell How Y'all Are ? Best time to go? Any time you can go! Best time they bite? The day before you get there & the day after you leave! Seriously, time on the water, go as often as possible.
  11. Nah! Wrangler Boot Cut ? Discovered worms in the early 60s, still throwing em! Discovered jigs in the 70s, still throwing em! Spinnerbait like forever!
  12. I'm from the 60s, I don't follow the flock!
  13. What's normal & who gets to define it?

    Four ?
  16. Full moon is barely on the horizon, slight southerly breeze, Hoot Owl in the distance, Nadine mouthing my jig. I stay cocked, locked, & ready to rock!
  17. While not your traditional "wobble" spoon the Heddon Moss Boss is extremely deadly around shallow cover. DO NOT! Under any circumstance throw one at night on grass mats.
  18. I remember summer nights on Toledo Bend that was 91° at 1 °clock in the morning! Hammered some big bass!
  19. No different than south Louisiana/Texas. I just turn the heat source off!
  20. Xpress Boats Strike King Zoom
  21. Yes Amen ? Personally I prefer X-Fast, you have realise what's in your hands.
  22. I throw both as long as they're straight, I don't care!
