Why can't you store it at home?

Unless it's Gorilla snot (algae) or matted I can get a spinnerbait through it. I guarentee it ain't the spinnerbait, it's the spinnerbait fishermen. Learn to flip-n-pitch that spinnerbait in & around cover. You don't have to cast a country mile get a spinnerbait to work. 3 or 4 turns of the handle can trigger a bite. I get a lot of bites letting it helicopter down in openings.

Fish the structure under the "vegetation". Regardless of the type of cover look at the structure first.
