  1. My ex mother-in-law had this hanging in her kitchen.
  2. Wasn't talking about Pros, this time of year there is hundreds of anglers on Toledo Bend. Don't recall any Pros catching a double digit bass & yet there have been 12 caught in 2 months.
  3. A Damiki Rig & FFS or you'll never get bit!
  4. Interesting 😉
  5. About 15 years as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Areospace Industry with Boeing, Grumman, Northrop/Grumman, Airbus, European Air Defense Systems (EADS). On a table behind my desk was a Digitizer that would make 3D programs for me.
  6. @casts_by_fly 👍 I'm 73 & started computers with MS-DOS & a 💾 . For the last 10-12 years I've ran our church's sound booth with high tech audio, video, computers, large screen projectors. Yeah I'm a little tech savvy 😉
  7. Here's one, no FFS, & not on a Damiki Rig. 13.67#
  8. It was said Fujita's electronics cost $50,000, add to that what $80,000 for the boat, & probably the same for a tow vehicle. We're looking at 200k!
  9. Some are saying it ain't fishing!

No sir I'm calling BS that the beds are everywhere. If there are beds everywhere why wasn’t more than 2 or 3 guys fishing them? Bassmaster showed Robert Gee was fishing near Indian Mounds while at the same time Zona was saying he was on the Louisiana side around the corner from Cypress Bend. Indian Mounds IS on the Texas side, so who was wrong, thier map imagery or Zona?

Toledo Bend is on the board with ShareLunker #658! Join us in congratulating Tracy Adair of Hemphill for his 13.61pound catch of a lifetime. Done without forward facing sonar.

Of course one Pro's word over rides everyone! And he certainly could not have been bull shitting!
  13. You are aware there was 100s of other anglers on Toledo Bend at the same & the vast majority were not throwing a Damiki Rig. Quite a few were every bit a successful. I read Fujita electronics cost $50,000!

Toledo Bend is in early pre-spawn. I talk to guys daily who live on the lake, fish almost every day & they are not seeing beds. If there's any beds they would be up north of Pendleton Bridge. Ain't seen or heard of any Pros that far north.

This may come as a shock to some of y'all but there are thousands of bass caught daily without FFS. Some with stringer larger than what these Pros caught.

Ya ever heard of Bait Finesse System? BFS utilizes specialized baitcasting reels and casting rods to allow the angler to cast ultralight lures that would normally only be used with spinning reels and rods.
  23. I do that occasionally with a 3/0 worm hook.
  24. Catt replied to TnRiver46's topic in Tournament Talk
Don't buy that at all 😉 There are still tournaments being won without it. I don't own a spinning setup, I fish the same techniques they use with a baitcaster. I think it was Jason Christie who said Fujita was catching his fish closer to the bottom & the Damiki Rig really was necessary. Many local tournament anglers are saying that they have noticed that once they locate fish they turn the units off because it's spooking fish.
