When do you guys toss out your jigs?
Life expectancy for my jigs is maybe a day around timber or brush. Even in our grass fields there is landowns & stumps.

When do you guys toss out your jigs?
Because I have days where I lose a half a dozen!

Same old, same old lures
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten! I'm pretty satisfied with my results

Turn around for bigger fish
My personal experience shows bigger bass are where they wanna be, when they wanna be there.

Turn around for bigger fish
Not only does it depend on the body of water but it also depends on the individual bass. Recent radio telemetry studies coupled with foward facing sonar shows a portion of the population lives near the shoreline, while a portion of the population lives offshore, & a portion of the population moves between the two. I've caught bigger bass shallow, I've caught em deep, & I've caught em everywhere in between.

Experience is the best teacher! Kick Bass ?

Solid body frogs turning over.
I only throw Stanley's Ribbit & Zoom's Horny Toad. Slowing down solved that problem for me. I reel just fast enough to keep it above water.

Old school craw worms...
In my simple mind they're all craw worms because I fish em Texas Rigged.

Technique order on offshore structure
I love it when the first response I hear is, well KVD does this. Ok! Well you ain't KVD & you ain't in the Classic. Slow down ? When fishing offshore structures I seldom drive over them scanning for bass, I approach from casting distance. My fish finder is tied to the end of my rod!

Slow-rolling a Spinnerbait
Meaning the depth is less than 10-12', a 1/2-3/4 oz spinnerbait ain't required to maintain bottom contact. SLOW down! I'm slow rolling with a 5.0:1 gear ratio reel Keep your rod tip low, I'll go as far as dropping it below the surface. Don't point the tip at the lure, keep it a few degrees off. FYI: I prefer double willowleaf

Technique order on offshore structure
Exact same bait ? Norman Knockoff or Wahoo Wing Ding

H&H Cocahoe Minnow
Yeah been throwing those things for year. They also make a 6" version. Their twin tail Sparkle Bettle is extremely deadly, Cajun Spin has been around as long a Bettle Spins, the Swamp Frog is probably older than any solid body frog.

Non-BFS Reel For Light Line Techniques/Baits
More concerned with the rod than the reel. I throw a Wacky Rigged Trick Worm with my Calcutta 100A when it was on my Powell Inferno. I throw Flukes with a Lew's LFS, Tournament MP/MB, Tournament Lite, & Team Lite.
