  2. nice cat bro!!! gotta love'em......great battlers. ;D
  3. probably not..... sure looks pretty...and made me buy it...... so from a business perspective, ya its necessary..... from the consumer/fish perspective.....likely not!!
  4. .....well said....it may be a bass forum, but all fish all equal in my mind. bigtim may be talking about bass, but that doesn't mean it cant apply to all fish!!! ( by the way, bigtim, it was brought up bc grouper and tarpon are fish too!! )
  5. great fish my man.....and sounds like quite the day as well....
  6. just check the avatar....... there's some 2 handed-big-fish-holden for ya.... take that ya evil one handed monsters ;D ;D ;D

  10. ive always fished 2 piece rods.... they're just fine....and more convienient to say the least, sure there may be some trade-offs, but hey.... i catch plenty of fish with plenty of sensitivity.... but then again....im no pro...... i just love to fish!!
  11. good to have another in the knowledge base, eh!!! glad to have ya
  12. .....seriously??? are guys buying it...(hopefully for their girls, or any random tail around)....but what dude actually says hard cider is a legitimate drink of choice!!!! seriously......order an appletini while your at it. as for mich ultra......it may not be the best beer, or even "good" for that matter.......but its far better than some spiked apple juice.
  13. cheap sh#t isn't all that bad, eh...... im on a budget to say the least, but my rx costa's were quite a few $'s!!!! ....(but they'll last many years, making the cost ratio obsolete !!) as far as everything else i purchase.....its all bargin priced.....except for my shimano reels.....gotta have'em....and they'll last for years as well!!
  14. any polarized lenses will help....... no questions asked...... bc of my rx......i had to spend alot more for mine..... lower end brands are beneficial as compared to nothing......but with higher end brands you will definitely see a difference!!! (i own costa's with my rx......and they set me back quite a few $'s to say the least....but you couldn't pry'em from my cold dead hands )
  15. hey, fishing may be slow, but .......... 6.6, well.... that'll make any day for me!!!!
  16. great bass......no matter who's was larger!!!!
  17. honestly, i love light tackle fishing....... but if your going with 4# test.....its simply inevitable!!!! still......your loss hurts none the less.....
  18. you picked the right place for a plethora of info...... good to have ya ;D
  19. honey on biscuits is amazing and all....... but if you wanna up the stakes, put some fried chicken in the biscuit and cover the inside of it with honey.....man thats great stuff......
  20. dont want to hurt anyone's feelings, but the whole "hard cider" thing is for the ladies..... man up, and drink some real beer, eh
  21. great photo..... how'd you manage to catch it while it was still trying to eat that??? (greedy fish, eh.....)
  22. good to have ya here, eh!!! (you picked a great place!!)
  23. i as well fish braid on my spinning gear..... 40lb suffix braid on my saros 3000..... (the 40lb is overkill in my mind, but the dia. of it is a good match for the amount of line that my spool can hold.......i can hold about 140 yds of it)
  24. jitterbugs (black and white) are decent producers for me..... used to use a hula popper, but tossed it a few years back after the skirt dried and got all crispy like......
  25. ya, thats no good...... either way, at least you didnt get skunked!!! .....then it would have been much worse >
