Has anyone looked dean rojas fightin frog? It looks very similar to the space monkey. It is made by Big Bite Baits.

I use grn pumpkin and also black. I use parasite weights though, not tungsten. I just can't see paying $6 for 1 weight. Im a cheap mo fo.

Now this is based on my trip yesterday to a local pond that is HEAVILY pressured. I found 3 things I did not like about it. 1 The box really is not labeled for diving depths so I had to guess. 2 I can only get it to dive to around 2 or 3 ft. ( i like the 4-6 ft range).3 It floats slowley back to the surface, I like my jerks to suspend. With that being said the action is outstanding. The price is wonderful. They are available in very good colors. The finish is nice. Good hooks (I believe). They are very loud on retrieve. They are the perfect jerkbait for someone just getting to learn jerks. Over all it is a good lure for such a cheap price. I have 3 and yesterday was my first time to really really fish one. I did not catch anything on it, but i never catch anything on anything other than plastics out there.It is all too deep for those lure types in this pond. It drops from the bank to about 1'for maybe 2 or 3 yds then straight to 17', then another drop to 25'. But if you have an academy around and you want some good quality jerk baits for cheap, pick some up.

Man I fish the same ones,and I also lack confidence in them. I know a ton of people use them and they produce very well. I honestly cast mine for about 10 casts when I first start fishing, don't catch then put it down pick up my spinnerbait and throw it forever. It's a confidence thing. One day I will try it more.

When I pick a bait the only reason is because I just want it. It's not a color thing, it's not a "oh they have been killin em on this bait" thing. It is just a I see it,I like it, I just want it. Or maybe it's a combonation of all of those things that draws me too it. I don't know. I'M SO CONFUSED

If it makes you feel better use a 8' diver and drop it over and let like half of your line out. It will be far from the boat but it will also go deeper than 8' because of all of the line that's out.

Are you asking because of the family of fish the bass is in?

While suspending.I think they look in all directions constantly. Always being observant of the surrounding areas.

Do you leave the flappy leg things together or pinch them apart? I leave them together. And that is a nice smallmouth.

I use them regularly. Grn pumpkin, Watermelon/Grn pumpkin,black neon. they are wonderful baits any way you rig them. I have yet to find a knock off that did not work as well.

Now that's a good story. But how many people have won tournaments and have done similar things all over the country with baits other than rage tail?

I agree with Rolo. That seems like it would take the fun out of it. It would be more business than pleasure. :'( I'm sure it's possible to travel and fish but unless your on a tour (elite-flw) I would think you would need to be a guide. And i don't know of any guides who guide on lakes cross country.

Man, ALL OTHER PLASTICS OBSOLETE????? That is a huge statement. I pesonally can not agree. I have used them and they really did'nt produce any more than my other plastics. As a matter of fact I used some of the rage lizards yesterday, and they got outfished by big bite baits kreit tail lizard.As for the space monkey thing, I can't say. I use the Wave Tiki monkey And Tiki Gorilla. Also the Tiki lobster. They all produce.What makes the ragetail line so special?But yes they are packaged extremely nice.

In this years Big Bass Splash on Rayburn, a dude got struck by lightining and it blew his clothes off of him. During the tourney. That's when I realized I love to fish, But I don't love it enough to be on the water in a boat when there is lightining. If you don't believe the story I'm sure you can look it up. Soft body swimbaits? I use 6" Huddlestons but they are just a little more than $10. I also use the luck e strike bass magic minnows.

I don't smoke but I carry a bic in my boat for this very reason.

Big Bite Baits Kreit tail Kreature. I can't explain it you have to look for yourself. And Uncle Josh jumbo pork frog.Also ribbit frog half of the body,shave the cut end down a bit and those legs are killer for jig trailers. And spinnerbaits too.
