I cant reccomend anything but FALCON, American Rodsmith,All Star, and H&H rods. Its going to be hard to beat a falcon. just my opinion.

:)I feel the same way. i often question why do i have soooo much stuff? I have never thrown a lot of it. But yet i STILL buy more. And dont get me started on colors. I always seem to go back to throwing the same ol things that im CONFIDENT with. I never REALLY try to throw a new thing, because i feel like maybe im not doing it correct and i KNOW i could catch them with this. Maybe i need to just pull out the .45 and get rid of the bait monkey . But if i know him he'll be back no matter what.

Those look great, i was wondering how long have you been airbrushing? i was thinking of getting into it, but im the type that if i dont get good at something within a 2 year range i lose interest.

i can agree up to a certain point. IF it were a bunch of zebcos it wouldnt be that much of an advantage for you. but since it is me with all of my electronics and all of my rods and him with just ONE rod with a zebco that might be a different story

I cant recommend a pflueger to anyone because of all of my problems with them. is it his first baitcaster? does he like the round reels better than low profile? if so i HIGHLY recommend either a c3 4600 or a c4 4600. but if he wants one under a $100 thats low profile i like my daiwa exelers, my megaforce, and my abu garcia silver max.

ok, here it is. if KVD only had 1 decent rod and a zebco reel, he has his full tackle but just one rod and a crappy reel. you have ALL of your stuff. do you think you could win? the body of water is a lake neither one of you has fished before. i Honestly do not know if i could.

kick n bass anise shad and yum crawfish. i dont know if they really work but i forget to use them most of the time and still catch fish.

every few years a new bait comes along and people catch a ton of fish on it. i remember a few years ago it was the x rap,then senkos,now swimbaits. but after a while the bite on those lures slows down a lot. at least thats what i feel happens. is it that a new bait came along and the hype overshadowed the older one or do bass have a good memory that says last time i ate one of those i had my lips ripped off? do they actually strike at that bait less because they see it so much? i do believe that its a combo of both. what do you think?

I never have, but at this years mcdonalds big bass splash on rayburn there was a guy from new mexico who drove 900 miles to fish that tourney. anyway he said he had the new mexico special he had been soaking his worms in red pepper for 6 months. ive never heard of using red pepper before. i dont think he won any money though.

i use an american rodsmiths champions. but look at airrus rods,hendrix rods, soldier rods, american eagle rods, h&h rods, usacustomrods.com. esox rods. there are a ton out there i wish i had the money to try them all

a good line that will spool a couple of reels is berkley big game. but my new favorite is about $9 for 330yds is suffix seige

well, i would throw both the spinner and lipless crank at that point. NOBODY really knows what those fish want. that whats fun about fishing. we get to figure it out

my first boat i just got about 3 months ago. i actually bought a sea chaser 17'5rg bay boat fibergalss. i love it. a small bay boat and all i do is bass fish out of it. i liked it more than any bass boat i looked at. there were some nice xpress boats but this one fit me better. both fiberglass and aluminum have there good and bad. aluminum makes a lot of noise from water slapping on the sides.fiberglass boats are usually heavier. i like them both to be honest. but good luck on your decision, it took me a year of searching to find the one that was perfect.

just remember all of that flooded area is just that much more area for those fish to hide. so hit the flooded areas extra hard and the new structure and cover even harder.
