  1. Mine goes rite next to the gun rack in my back seat. ;D ;D ;
  2. Has anybody used the new ABU Cardinal 600 ALB spinning reel. I was thinking about getting it for saltwater use. Any info would be great.
  3. Has anybody used the ABU Cardinal 600 ALB it says it has a sealed drag, corrosion res. bearings, and the 3000 size is fairly lighter than most others ive looked at.
  4. Im looking for a spinning reel for brackish and saltwater use. Id like it to be sealed to somewhat protect it from the saltwater. 3500 or 4000 size, price range around 100 bucks, any suggestions.
  5. I own two Presidents a 6735 and 6720 and they are by far one of the best spinning reels under 100 bucks. But if you have the money get a supreme. ;D
  6. Reel: Pflueger President 6730 Rod: Fenwick HMX 7ft. M, St. Croix MOJO 7ft. M Line: Stren Sonic Braid 20lb.
  7. Heavy Lipless cranks I like 3/4 oz. silver/black back, or a C-Rig, Ive also had luck with heavy spinnerbaits.
  8. Strike King Series 5 and 6
  9. I lost about a 35-40 inch Snook of a lifetime this afternoon in the S. Fork of the St. Lucie River. Thats probly chump change to you guys but thats massive for me.
  10. Zoom Ol' Monster or 6'' U-tail in Red Shad, Junebug, or Wat. Red. ;D
  11. I like a 7' M F rod with a high speed reel, and 14 to 17lb. Stren Original
  12. On a spinning reel I personally won't go heavier than 20lb. I recommend Stren Sonic Braid, or Super Braid if you can find it. Power Pro and Suffix aren't bad thats just not what i like. Don't waste your money on Fireline.
  13. X2 on the CXX, and if you don't like it you can always just use it to tow your truck. ;D
  14. My buddy has one thats a 6'4'' MH F. I just gave it back to him yesterday, I let him use one of my loomis rods and I borrowed his. In my opinion its a great rod for the price its fairly sensitive and its dang strong. In the two weeks or so I had his rod I swung multiple 3,4,5 pounders in the boat without issue. I would say its close to the best rod in that price range, if not the best. ;D
  15. Pflueger, Loomis, Powell, Stren, Zoom, Strike King cranks, LC jerkbaits, and the occasional YUM Dinger.
  16. Im looking to get a new spinning rod mainly for fishing small plastics and the occasional jerkbait that are too small to fish on a baitcaster. Im want something around 7' and M action for under 130.00 or so. I would appreciate any suggestions
  17. I prefer heavy mono for buzzbaits but i have used braid and its fine its just my personal preference to use mono. I don't use braid with spinnerbaits, I personally like a bit of stretch(CXX or Yozuri Hybrid) but it very much varies on personal preference.
  18. Fenwick Eagle GT 6' L 59.99 (its plenty light) Plflueger Trion 4720 29.99. Ive taken 5 plus pound LM in florida and 3 plus pound smallies in Tenn. with this exact setup.
  19. You got to tell me where that place is or at least the zip code so I can try to find it. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  20. Any Resevoir in any grove in Florida. They have zero fishing pressure and have been there for god knows how long. Not to mention the numerous lakes on the Adams Ranch in St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties that have never seen a lure. ;D
  21. "The best spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and jigs on the water." Bill Dance
  22. Fireline is GARBAGE. Powerpro or stren sonic or superbraid
