Ours went up instantly on the reports of the last storm. They never went down though. Then when the 2nd storm fizzled out the prices still went up. They are climbing again ( around $3.90 for a while now ) Amazing that they can go up fast but not down when they seem to would have excess. Right before the storms our prices had been falling pretty fast. I think the storms are a "convenient" excuse. I swear if they keep this crap up someday we are going to have an uprising over it. I'm not sure who with but somebody.

I don't know about best rod but I've had a Shakesphere Excursion for a few years now. They sell at Wallyworld for around $13 so can be had quick and easy. It won't win the rod of the year award. Muddy's Cabelas and the guys who mention the Shimano Convergence have good advice as well. You'll have to add shipping and I'm not sure how much rod shipping generaly costs.

Cabela's catalog has a comparison chart in it. Or one year ago did anyway I may not have checked 08's At any rate when you look at the chart it is VERY obvious in some cases ( not all ) who is making a Cabela's reel for them. They advertise the same feature with the same patented name as the OEM. No way could they use that name without an agreement or made by arangement. I guess I'm odd when it comes to music. I don't listen to it for the words just how the voices sound as notes. I don't mean this as a slam to anyone, just as a casual observance. I've heard beautiful songs that people get all up in arms about because of what the words say. On a trip to BPS recently I did an unscientific short study. I gave each of approx 30 reels a gentle spin of the handle to see how long it would spin. The BPS extreme hands down out spun everyone including Curado, Revos, Quantums you name it I tried it. Now this may or not even mean anything. Plus it doesn't test drag or longevity or ease of getting repaired. I just like the feel especially for the price. I love the color as well its a pretty reel. One reel I think was a higher end Quantum but could have been a Revo, had a ton of side to side slop on the spool. It approached almost 1/8" worth of slop. I don't even know for sure if that is bad but NO, Nada, Not one other reel was that way. Just an observation, not 100% sure what it means

Well I went out and bought a 37" Vizio HDTV 720p a few days ago. Today is the first day of pro football so what do I do? Sign up for a training class in Minnesota; the plane left at 11:40am ughhhh! That's the bad news. The good news is I walk into the hotel room and it has a 37" LG flat HDTV. Whoo hoo! No wife or Disney channel distractions I'm set! Break out the bruskies!

I can't say that I've had one in my hands. I believe I've seen where people who use Pfluegers had said this one is kind of a dud. But I'm not 100% sure so check the internet for reviews.

One of our daughters ( age 22 ) has been sick on and off for 1.5 years. Long story & another progarm Feeling good recently she took her 2 youngest sisters both age 9 on an outing. They went to a kids carnival deal, to dinner, then mini golf, then for ice cream.
