  1. While I apreciate the answer.. you really didn't tell me anything I don't know all ready. First of all it is almost impossible to find Silstar products from retailers in Korea. If you do it's very limited. Second the website does not allow you or even offer it as an option to ship to South Korea
  2. I used schedule 40 pvc pipe with capped ends and my rods made it all the way across the pacific in one piece...
  3. Why is it that even though you are a Korean owned company it is next to impossible to find or purchase your reals in Korea?... I would like to Collect your line of reels as I Like to collect Korean things but non of the retailers carry them here, or am i missing something.
  4. Looks like all the folks who rushed out to buy the vendettas kinda jumped the gun.... looks like Michael Iaconelli will be fishing this rod at the Bassmaster Classic tournament coming in a couple of weeks. check out the preview at TT http://www.tackletour.com/previewabugarciaveritas.html
  5. I use 20# seagar mono, 1 the larger diameter floats better and helps the action. 2 . I don't know about other fellas but I usually hook up with bigger fish when i throw spooks and wake baits. I had a fish bust brand new 14# mono on the strike. fish tend to hit top-waters with a lot more ferocity then other baits 3. because it is a surface lure line size or visibility is not an issue. 4. i like to throw top-water plugs in open water near nasty stuff and have been pulled into it before. 5.
  6. If you own this then shouldn't you be giving us a review?
  7. Citca + Bucoo, and Shimano Sahara SH2500FD + BuCoo Spin Rod 7' Medium
  8. Bucoo... have yet to handle a lighter more well balanced rod for the cash Here is a link to a review i did when i bought mine. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1249358208/4#4
  9. ...use a 6' MH fast action graphite rod with a lure rating of 3/8-3/4oz for?
  10. If you want it then start it... just cause he is a mod doesn't mean he has to like all brands or be unbiased.. it's what he likes so get off it...
  11. I went to lowes and bought a four inch pvc pipe. painted it black and attached a BPS rod tube strap. thw whole thing cost me maybe 30$ and it holds 6 rods very easy. i wrap the tips in buble wrap and then shiped the whole thing to korea... worked great not a scratch on any of the rods
  12. I agree... That's why i'm planning on buying the JDM version Scorpion XT... it's a Sexy dark purple.
  13. I'm Sorry but I love my Ugly Stick lite pros as moving bait rods. The 6.5 lbser in my avatar was caught on it. I have yet to have a fish throw my plug, or mis a hook set since i made the switch. I bought one to replace an old rod that the reel seat nut was striped out on before a trip and loved it so much for med cranks and other baits in that style and range that i bought another one. I'm talking about the Wal-Mart exclusive that is actually nice looking. A nice gray Graphite/FG all the way to the tip with blue accents...Cork handles... it's a very attractive rod... 36$ cant beat it for less than a benji on a crank bait rod IMO
  14. my set up cost me 185000 won or 156.03$ ah... to be in the land of OEMS lol
  15. I just bought the Damiki Dark Angel 8' Swimbait rod for my big stuff.. it's rated at 2-10 oz but we will see how true it is out on the water... I am going to match it with my Banax LX108 WP or i might buy the JDM version of the cardiff , the Axis I already have the banax and am not sure if the axis is worth a 100 more than the cardiff
  16. TELL ME A SHIMANO CI4 WOULDN'T BE FREAKIN SICK ON THE DARK ANGEL SPINNING ROD
  17. Jackels Giron looks pretty great as well.. yet to catch anything yet... to be honest i have yet to catch a fish on anykind of swimbait hard or soft
  18. Bandit and Rapala have great gill patterns for there cranks... as well as koppers
  19. I didn't trash them... I said if i had 200 bucks to spend i would buy something else before i bought a BPS rod I never said they were trash....
  20. Careful... I said the same thing and got jumped on by some one for it....
  21. OK here are my .02 Here is a little about me... I'm 29 years old. I was born in Osage Beach Missouri and lived in Camdenton Mo. on lake road 5-88 right on the Niangua Arm with the lake in my back yard. started fishing at age 5. Moved to Blue Springs Mo at 9 years of age and lived on lake Tapawingo. moved to Washington Mo. at age 15 and lived with in walking distance of the Missouri River. then at the age of 27 moved to Lake Sherwood Mo. with the lake in my back yard. I Fished every day from thaw to freeze for years. It's easy when your deck and dock are the same thing. I'm not a wealthy guy and have Bass Pro Extreams, Bionics, Shakespere ugly stick lite pro Rods (which I love for moving baits) Falcon Bucoo's (my most expensive rods to date.. Which I love) Citca 200e, Quantum TE PT, Cabelas mag-touch, Banax Lexima lx-108 bait caster, and i'm sorry but out of all the reels i have including the PT TE the Citca is by far the best reel I have, even though it cost a third of the TE to be honest i like my extremes better then the TE. My Reels and rods have been hammered over the years... The fact I have not fished since Aug. is killing me. I understand Brand Loyalty... But for some one who has Bought a ton of cheep gear in his life... The Citca is by far the best reel i have bought. It is because of the quality of this reel that I have become a Shimano Guy but I like to collect gear and want one of everything. but it's hard to do when you only get an allowance of 420 bucks a month from your wife to buy and pay for all things a guy needs from gas to gear. This is the first time in my life I have not lived with in walking distance from a great fishery AND IT SUCKS. I think every one is a fan of who they are a fan of because of there experience. No one is right and no one is wrong. IT"S A MATTER OF OPINION. so agree to disagree I don't know why so many people think they know more about this than others when most of us don't even know each other The Home I miss
  22. It would probably cost the same as if you got the free shipping from TW... i most definatly buy the sw and the cb ... it's half off... and i'm thinking of buying the 7' versions as well... i might buy one spinning rod... the one i have is not that great...
  23. you can still buy it here in Korea but it's under the Duel aka yo-zuri brand name.... 20$ for a 110 yrd spool http://www.ytfishing.co.kr/sub/view_product.php?Code=1239356761&CatNo=9
