If you opinion make you unpopular them I am gong to be right their with you. Allen I wish they would close season thill the spawn was over. I know here at Ky Lake they have caught spawning Crappie till the Crappie population is way down. The same thing can and will happen with Bass.

I use lure tamer and like them. They keep the hooks out of me and the carpet

I have done well with the flat CB MR series in Tenn Shad and bluegill. I just purchase several more in difference colors off e-bay. The ones I hae run about 6 feet.

I fish Ky lake and we have a tournament here every weekend and some time two per day for the weekend. All you have to do is go fishing a few days after the event and count the dead fish. I also Tournament fish and also work for a national known tournament trail and when you work the release boat of a big tournament and see what happen after the show it will change your mind. I know about Sure Life Labs and several other. They make great stuff but this thread is about the way the fish are handle. nets v No nets. I have been told their are several changes in the works for ALL tournament in the way fish are handle, transported and release. If what I have told pan out it will change the way any tournament is run.

If you ask any director for BASS or FLW why they don't use a net they will tell you it would take away from the show. Hoist & Slam makes good tv. The same for lipping and holding then up at weighin. If you will go to a lake about two or three days after a big tournment you will find several bass dead. You will never see a good part of the ones that died because they swin of and died later.

If you know how to use a BC all you should have to adjust it is one time. I adjust it when I mount the reel and spool it up. No waste of fishing time.

The combat series are good if you can find them. They were made by Evergreen for Lucky Craft. Any of the LC fat series of CB are good

their is no such thing as the best lure of all time. It is all personal opinion what is best.

I like Owner. I don't sharpening them. When they become dull I trash them. But before I throw them into the trash I grind the point off so someone cannot get hooked.
