  1. Your 7 foot rod will work fine. And like Catt said a bass is not going to spool your reel.

  4. I have been a menber of the local rescue squad for several years and I have nevery recovery a body with a PFD on.
  5. I have used them and not crazy about them. You have to pull a certin way for them to release at their stated rating. Plus they are expensive for what they are.
  6. I don't know about Indiana/Ohio fishing stinking but I do know about Ky. We have some fine fishing both Lm and SM and also Hunting. I don't know were in Ohio you are but several places in Ky are not to far to travel.

  11. All sunline come with a half way mark. It is a great line but expensive.
  12. I don't know about spinning reels but I have a couple of the Daiwa Advantage casting and they are fine reels. Not on par with a Shimano Chronarch but not as nuch money either.
  13. I know that you are asking about storage out of the boat. For storage in boat ( I fish out of a modified Jon) I had a cabinet maker build me a box 18 inch wide by 8 foot long and 6 inch tall to carry rigs in while fishing. I have 3 holder installed with foan rubber padding to keep from scratching them. When they are in the slots they are procected from the element and prying eyes

  15. If you fish riprap you are going to lose some tackle. I like Chompers stand up jig head for the rocks. All the other time I use jig made by me.
  16. I think you have been looking at my GPS data log. Of the type of structure you have name all are great but my favorite is Rivers and Creek channels
  17. I will take Striper over either one of them. More fight plus striper get a lot bigger.
  18. Ky and Barley lake is full of ledges. I generally use a pig & Jig in black and blue. I had some real good luck early on a ledge using a DD22.
  19. Well I bit the bullet today and bought another G Loomis 844C IMX and a new Chronarch 100B to go with it. I am going to make this my Jig rod. I going to spool it up with Seaguar CarbonPro. Does anyone know anything good or bad about Seaguar CarbonPro line????
  20. Westpalmdude I live about 2 miles from Ky dam. From the time I leave home I can be in the water at the Ky Dam Marinia in about 3 min. We might have fished the same brushpiles for old paper mouth. Bud
  21. Hey some time you just need to unload.
  22. I have caught crappie in as little as 6 inches of water. In the spring time they will go to the shallow to spawn and they get real shallow. I love to fish for them either with a live minnow around stumps or casting a roadrunner jig.
