I am the tournment director for our club and we let everyone who qualified put a lake in and draw.
  3. Just a 12 volts green florescent light.
  4. Here is what I done to my boat for rod storage. I had a friend who is a cabinet maker build me a box 8ft long 17inch wide and 6 inch tall out of plywood. I coated this with several coat of marine paint. On the inside I put a set of rod holder from Wal-mart. It will hold 6 rod rig and it can be locked. I installed this on the left side of the boat laying on the seats with a couple screws holding it in place. I has it build in the early spring and fish all year with no problem with it.
  5. Bud is my name and the picture is one of my wife painting.
  6. Don't use evergreen as they will catch a lot of dirt and fill up . After that they are no good for the fish cannot hide inside of them. The best is hardwood with all of the leaf off. If they have leaves on them they will also clog up with dirt. The very best is a steak bed. Their are several way to make them
  7. I agree with you 1000%. I rather be 20 min early than 1 min late. flechero it did the same thing. after several time telling her to hurray up I left her. After that she is always ready
  8. You can build habitat several difference ways. Old tires banded together or Stake beds work well. The algie will start to grow on then with in a few days and the little fish will come to eat it and the bigger fish will eat the little one. After the habitat is place it will last till it rots out or is removeed.

Read BrushPileBerry answer. he is 100%
  10. Just follow the direction on the can. Then you cannot go wrong.
  11. I would agree with RW. I would think your cross their eye hook set is the problem. With a real sharp hook you don"t need it.
  12. I think I will be busy when it is showing.
  13. In the last year I have fish with 3 member of this forum. Bassingsolder. AAron and CJ. And about a dozen other. Yes it was cold CJ.
  14. I live less than 2 mile from Ky lake so that would have to be it.
  15. Well I think I an a good sportman and I use a net. It is better on the fish to lift it in a net than to drag it all over the boat carpet just to play KVD
  16. I work for a national known Fishing tournment trail that is sponsored by Cabelas. You owe it to your self to go to the headquater store and go though that place.
  17. Every day since Ky lake is only 3 min away.
  18. I just purchase a new 900 series Hummingbird and it will show thermocline real well
  19. If you build them out PVC pipe a depth finder don't pick then up good. Gander Mt sell a kit to make a PVC brushpile.
  20. That is what GPS's are for. To help hide your brushpiles and help mark all of the rest that you find.

Any one use a hand held GPS to mark spots???? If so what kind do you have. I am looking to upgrade mine and would like some feedback
  23. Like Avid said read between the lines. A lot of BS. Also their are a lot more of 1.5 pounders and down caught than 2 pounders up. I always wonder how some of the people that post could not get the fish into the boat but know what it weight.
  24. UMF also is replay at 5PM CSDST on TUE.
  25. LBH GY Senkos work better than any thing I have used so that is the reason iI use them. I doubt the penney you save by using a knock off will every buy a cheap rod much less a good one. If it does you will be old and gray.
