B&R Outlaw Rods
okay thanks. I was wondering if they would compare to my dobyns or gLoomis rods. How about the action? I read on another thread that their rod actions are slower than what they rate it. Is it true?

B&R Outlaw Rods
hey guys I just stumbled upon these rods. After looking through his webiste it looks legit. I mean he is an avid fisherman and the warranty of the rods seem real nice. What I want to know is are his rods comparable to any other high end rods out there? for example G Loomis, St Croix, etc.? let me know alright.

Texas rigged baits. You fish them on baitcaster or spinning rod
I use baitcast as much as possible. I'll only use spinning if I'm downsizing to a really small lure.

Benefits of custom rod making?
use rodbuilding.org. those guys are very helpful and can answer all your questions.

Big Bite Baits- Cane Stick Worm
it looks good, but I wouldn't compare it to a senko. Looks like a modified senko, but not a senko

Rapala X-Rap
they have an excellent darting action. Also check out the husky jerk model as well. Both are excellent jerkbaits.

pro qualifier vs shimano citica
I like the citica a little more than the pro qualifier. The real noticable difference is the weight first of all. The citica is an ounce lighter and I can really feel the difference. As far as performace wise I think they're pretty much equal to some degree. But from my opinion I like the look of the citica and the name brand SHIMANO so I would suggest going with the citica.

Black crappie XR75

Brand Loyalty...Good or Bad?
I'm in total agreement.

white jig??
I like throwing white lures when bass are chasing shad or during the spawning season for bass.

Red hooks
I don't think it makes a difference but my brother has outfished me with red hooks on paddletail swimbaits. I think it makes the baits look like they're bleeding or something, but that's just my opinion.

Strike King Rage Tail lures
thanks guys I will search around, but here's my final question. Did I buy the right colors? For the anaconda I bought the bama bug and green pumpkin, for the eeliminator I bought pearl and blue glimmer blk flake, and for the smokin rooster I bought bama bug and green pumpkin. Now will these colors work for the lakes I"m fishing. One of the lakes is ultra clear I mean super duper clear, you can see right to the bottom of the lake. Then on the other lake it's so brown that you can only see about 3-4" down. By the way I think I know exactly how I can fish the lures. I've watched a few videos on these rage tail and can't wait to try them out.

Strike King Rage Tail lures
hey guys I just ordered some strike king rage tail baits from *** because of the 15% off sale. Anyways I bought the anaconda, the eeliminator, and the smokin' rooster. What I want to know is how to really fish these baits. I mean the conditions or the best ways to fish them. I've read about people texas rigging them or carolina rigging them but there is always a different way to fish them. Here in so cal the fish pressure is insane, that's why I decided to go with these lures. Anyways I was wondering what are the colors that produce for you guys. Clear water colors? or dirty water colors?

BBZ 1 Shad Slow Sink
go with the sebile magic swimmer or the strike king sexy swimmer. They produce better than the spro bbz to me at least

Best wooden cranks?
man I love the rapala DT series, but I always lose them because the bill keeps coming off. Ticks me off.

Reviving a Fish
From my experience if I gut hooked a bass I cut my line by the hook eye and let the bass swim away. From what I heard the hook is supposed to rust away. I don't know if it's true or not, but this is how I prevent a bass from dying (I BELIEVE :-/)

I need reel opinions...
the curado is the best choice if you have the money. The citica is also a very nice reel. It's my spinnerbait reel at this time. I use the curado mainly for pitching and flipping and also fishing weightless plastics.

A couple more of my little creations
WOW! How did you do that?

Bank fishing....
I like spinnerbaits and crankbaits. When all else fails a texas rig works best.

What fluoro is closest to XPS fluoro?
go with seaguar invizx. It's more manageable than abrazx. I only use abrazx in heavy cover or areas where there are lots of rocks and you could get hung up easily. Other than that go with invizx.

Reel choice test Monday
wow you've got a heck of a neighbor.

Micro Guide Casting Rods
these micro guides are the big thing right now. I'm a custom rod builder myself and see improvements in casting as well as making your rod more balanced. The only drawback with micro guides to me is if you like to use leaders on your fishing line or when it's cold outside and your guides freeze up. Other than that micro guides are the way to go.

H2O Express hardbaits
yes their swimbaits have good action. My little brother caught a 4lber on one during the spawn. H20 has some great lures.
-
BBZ shad
go with the slow sinking model BBZ shad. That one is more versatile in my opinion. Also, the single hook is good enough for fishing.

Strike King Premier Plus 3/8 oz and above - Wire oddly shaped
yea stick with booyah or buy some from northstar custom baits. I like his jigs and spinnerbaits. The wires are thin though but they do produce good fish.
