Potential World Record Tuna
Probably nothing. There are very very very strict guidelines on the preparation of sashimi grade tuna after being caught. http://wwwx.spc.int/coastfish/Fishing/Sashimi_E/Sashimi.pdf

I think you dropped your purse somewhere. 8-) Try one, you may be surprised. It's definitely not something you want to tell people about though....Ooops! Heh.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Super Sweet Alcohol Bragging Thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today I had a Miller Lite and half of my wife's Seagram's girl drink. They are actually kind of good in a feminine way.

Sarah Palin's Alaska
I saw one episode and watched the whole thing. I love this show. I also watched her daughter on Dancing With the Stars. The only thing that could make Sarah Palin's Alaska better is Larry Csonka.

CAM NEWTON
That's a bit of a generalization, no? What about all the student-athletes in lower profile programs and sports? What about the DII and DIII programs? I think you are off base with that remark. Why does being in a lower profile program change the fact that the NCAA governs with a ridiculous amount of hypocrisy, and a complete lack of common sense? I guess it doesn't. I must have misinterpreted your remark.

Do You Drink Energy Drinks?
I get regular Medscape emails, and just the other day I got an article about a study that linked heavy energy drink use with higher levels of alcohol use. In other words those that reported drinking above average amounts of energy drinks also reported drinking above average amounts of alcohol. I will post the link, but I think you would need to register to read it. http://cme.medscape.com/viewarticle/732871?src=cmemp&uac=156388CY

Lets see what's in your fridge.
Much better choice than Captain. I've had my share of journeys with the Admiral. All were in college. Ha

who's still flying?
This makes it five pages and we can't make it past page one about the bad cop, or the pedophile book on Amazon.com? Just sayin. Sheesh. I had to say that. As for the rest of this discussion, I'm staying out.

Hemorrhoids
Because you are physically unable to due to access or some other limitation, or because you don't want to? I think your doctor could probably offer the best advice, unless that is truly not an option- In which case I would use ice, avoid lifting heavy objects, try to manage your stools (avoid constipation) and use an OTC cream. Disclaimer: Keep in mind I am not a health provider and this advice should not be taken as the advice of a professional, these are simply some things I read and have seen work for others. If at all possible, you really should consult your doctor for the best advice.

Favorite Dish
Thanksgiving inspired my perfect bite. Here is the recipe... Get some mashed potatoes on the fork. Press the potato'd fork into the corn. Roll the two in your gravy puddle. Cram a little stuffing on the end but leave some room to poke a piece of thigh meat. Enjoy. Disclaimer: this generally tastes better when nobody is looking. If you have guests that may be turned off by this, I'd suggest waiting to try it on the leftovers. This year I am going to make leftover empanadas to contain all the ingredients listed above. Mmm.

Another beer thread
Call me boring, but Miller Lite in the bottle is my favorite. I don't really notice a difference with the vortex bottle thing. I never had a problem getting it out of the old bottle.

So close...
Bluebasser, don't sweat it. You already experienced the best part of that hunt. You will have the chance at others.

Nintendo Wii fishing game
The Strike (BPS) has been sitting in the box on the shelf for a while now. I don't like it that much.

4G
I have been hanging around some of the android/evo forums a little bit. Seems like there are unlimited possibilities, but it is a bit intimidating. I am coming from a palm (an old one) but I never really dug into that one. I mostly just used it to call/text/browse.

Basic question about rod actions
I disagree. The medium rod will cast farther because you are loading more of the rod during the cast and can transfer more energy to the bait.

Veritas
that's it Thanks.

4G
I am posting this on my new HTC Evo. Been messing around on this thing for a while now (picked it up after work today) and I must confess, there isn't much that I have figured out yet. Yes, I know- my area doesn't even have 4G yet.

Veritas
Jason, I don't understand how your rod is being affected by the gear ratio of your reel. Will you elaborate about your situation?

Another 5lber....UPDATE!
I think your scale is much closer than the length/girth calculation. Looks like a decent 4 to me.

Im going to build one...
Sewing thread is fine, but most kinds have a silicone lubricant added to help the thread run through sewing machines. You can use it, but you will need to use color preserver or the silicone will cause problems with the epoxy finish.
