I get regular Medscape emails, and just the other day I got an article about a study that linked heavy energy drink use with higher levels of alcohol use. In other words those that reported drinking above average amounts of energy drinks also reported drinking above average amounts of alcohol. I think your scale is much closer than the length/girth calculation. Looks like a decent 4 to me.

Sewing thread is fine, but most kinds have a silicone lubricant added to help the thread run through sewing machines. You can use it, but you will need to use color preserver or the silicone will cause problems with the epoxy finish.
