Jackall Ammonite Shad
Ummm yes they were caught on the ammonite shad He's using it as a jig trailer for a flat-head swim jig... much like fred roumbanis jig and double-diamond swimmer combo.. http://ninjatacklebox.com/movie/movie.htm scroll halfway down the page to a video called "2009 New! Ammonite Shad" (I cant post a direct link to the video because its a .wmv) Raul, there is a few videos of the ammonite shad here, They probably can help you on how to fish them.

Any goals or "resolutions" for this season?
gotta break my personal best, only about 18 1/2 inches so with some big bass attitude shouldnt be too hard.

Vicious At Walmart
i just got some hooks today. and i thought it was a sweet deal! all of the lures were sold out though, but i did see some soft plastics, fluke type lures, ribbon tail worms, and some lizards. might try the flukes, but the terminal tackle seems to be what caught my eye the most.

How Do You Cast Small Light Crankbaits Far??
spinning gear.. I also read one trick where you carolina rig crankbaits. never tried it, but sounds like a good way to get a small bait down deep. I plan to crolina rig a Rapala original floater this year! O.o ... might take a while to figure out a hookset though....

Berkley Chigger Toad
They looked really good to me. i was thinking of ising it more as a pitching or texas rig bait than buzzing it. The design is good and the colors look great.... but u pay $3.50 for 4 of them, so I never got them, I think I'll stick with something else.

What Is The Best Rod Series??
haha i bought the 7'2" jig/worm rod, and for me... its far from whippy! too heavy for what i intended to use it for,im thinking of selling it, or maybe just make it my flipping stick... dont gotta worry bout too much grass in wisconsin

Your Go To Crank
there is something magical about their original foil silver/black color.
-
Hooksets With Crankbaits
alot of people hate these, but i like these too. i feel you can get away with a heavier rod because the long hook is just like an ewg worm hook.

State VS State Results Thread
Iknow what you mean, my blood is just boiling to get out there and fish, i already got a gameplan and everything, but my tackle is in need of some serious organization so i guess that will keep me occupied for awhile...sigh, keep the monsters coming guys! help us get through final weeks of...boredom and irratability hehe

Yum F2 Baits
the shakelicious worm is a winner! its super thin tail has a sweet quiver to it
-
Strike King Shadalicious
from my experience the shadalicious baits are too stiff to get a good action out of, for the 3.5" anyway. but im weird, I also despise twist lock swimbait hooks.
-
Flipin/pitchin At Timber
i would use a craw imitator, something with straight claws. If i throw a chigger craw i may trim the claws down a tad.
-
Mystery Creature/fish Chomped My Worm
i agree. and even a small redear slider could have done it. they just need a little bite on the side and the tail of your worm is a goner. they have sharp jaws, trust me, ive been bitten

Favorite Flipping Bait

jerk baits??????????
xcalibir xs4 is my favorite larger jerkbait, and lucky craft-but since your not asking for luckycraft suggestions... i like rapala husky jerk- but mine floats a little bit so look out for that. 1 last thing, stay away from the Strike King Wild Shiner...worst jerkbait i have ever touched, i caught a few fish on it but the durability is absolutely pitiful and they always ran either to the left or right majorly for me.

Strike King tiny crank
i have a couple that i havent used yet...

Treble hooks for DD22 ???

-
Funniest things you have seen on the water
i see people fishing with spinning rods upside down quite often, good for a chuckle or two. but i usually set them straight....usually... depends how funny they look
-
Recommend Me a Shaky Head
i prefer one with a barb on the hookshank rather than a screw-lock or spike.
-
Brekley Chigger Craw Or The Crazy legs Craw?
i prefer the crazy legs
