Why...?
It's called gravity. It is actually the weakest of all the forces but yet the strongest.

Spybaiting
It is easy to cast even with casting gear but you want the lighter lines. Heavier line will dampen or maybe negate the subtle rocking motion it does. I have only fished them a little but they for sure catch fish. I was throwing it on 20# braid with and w/o a leader. The hooks are super sharp but very thin and bend out very easy.

Good Baitcaster For A Beginner?
I would say a tatula since they are great reels and can be had for about $100 or maybe a lews tournament or something similar. You can always go cheaper to learn but to me those are not reels I would keep fishing.

Feathering Line When Using Baitcasters
I usually don't have to touch the spool much. Maybe a touch at the beginning and ofc at the end before it hits the water. It all depends on other factors though. Your lure, line, rod, reel, and wind all matter as does experience. Occasionally I might need to thumb it for a sec in the middle if it starts to overrun and let the lure pull it out. That comes with experience though. I am kind of the abnormality since I almost never ever use any tension and most people always do like it's mandatory for whatever reason. Any newer reel you can set with pretty much just pins and mag and cast anything without having to thumb the spool since the reel will do the work. That's a great way to start when learning and back everything off as you get more comfortable. Eventually you can get down to 1 or 2 pins with 0 tension and be casting like a champ.

S Weaver Questions
Everything rippin said is spot on. You could fish them on braid if your dead set on it but I have moved away from braid anymore. Even getting hit on a pause you might still be alright and it would be like fishing jerkbaits I suppose. You will always be best off with glide fishing them with the softest tip and lightest line you are comfortable using. Like for example I think BB recommends throwing 250's on 17# but like the rest of the planet I am no comfortable tossing $200 on 17#. I will throw the 168's on 12 or 15 depending on what rods I have with me as you dont need anything special for them. The 200's and a 175 I will toss on a small swimbaitrod like 1-4oz I think on 17#. I like copoly for almost anything anymore and it is very very hard to beat to minute stretch and amazing sensitivity of CXX. As far as I know currently CXX is the end all of line for me as long as you have some L&L but I am looking to give some defiler a run when ice out finally comes since WRB swears by it.

S Weaver Questions
Lots of strikes comes on the pause with a slack line. It's hard to be a good copoly IMO. Everyone has a preference though.

Small Swimbaits
They are my favorite on a swim jig

S Weaver Questions
A rod with a softer tip gives a better action. You can use like any worm/jig rod. For line somethng like 12-15# is plenty for me. The lighter the line and rod the better the work.

Small Swimbaits
I also like fats the best. But as for best producing swimbait I don't think basstrix can be beat.

Small Swimbaits
Big hammers, keitech, basstrix, ripple shads, sick fish, weedless shads, grass minnows, decoys... I could go on but those are all top notch baits and cover all the variety of types.

Do Bass Know When The Lake Is Stocked With Trout?
As long as it is on a set schedule they get conditioned for it I think. There is videos from Mike Long showing huge bass waiting for the trout on stocking day. It's actually pretty cool watching them eat the stockers.

Single Or Double Sd Jam Knot ?
Single has never given me any trouble. I am knot sure how much stronger doubling can make it as long as yu tie it good.

Casting Distance Issues Diagnosis
The pinion might also be gunked up. Pop the spool out and stick a qtip in the pinion hole and clean it out. That can make a good impact on casting.

Wot Gear Pawl Washer?
I think that is what the piece of metal is called but am not sure. Anyways my question is how important is that tiny washer that goes behind it under the cap? I cleaned a bunch of reels yesterday and for whatever reason when I was done I noticed those washers and tbh don't feel like taking them apart again to get the washer back in. I can't get it in without removing the 2 screws to take off the front hood and I don't want to almost totally strip a reel apart just to get that washer back in.

Breakable Split Rings
I wish I knew about these before. I can't believe I never heard of this. Could be a total game changer.
-
Breakable Split Rings
You have $25 crankbaits? Either way I also wouldn't be worried about it since it would be very rare for that to happen plus I am talking big baits and drag would go before the line ever broke so it's a non issue.
-
Breakable Split Rings
I could care less about loosing a crank. I mean unless you fish insanely expensive cranks.

Breakable Split Rings
So I thought about this the other day and it seems like a plausible idea. It would depends on the baits your fishing and cover but I think it would be a benefit to be able to pop a hook off and still get a bait back if you get hung. I really was thinking about this applying to expensive baits like swimbaits. There are plenty of places I would want to toss a bait but am not willing to get a $100 bill stuck. I was thinking I could probably tie trebles on with some mono that's lighter then your main line and if you did get hung the hook should pop off and your only out a hook. It is something I think I need to try out next year. Then maybe I could really get deep in some junk with baits I would never dare try with.
