Same here. You're right, for the money it's well worth it. I was told by my agent that additional insurance for the trailer isn't really worth it, so I didn't get it.

I should have clarified, my boat gets moored for the season, so my trailer sits in my yard empty and locked. After the season the boat gets winterized and wrapped and sits in my yard locked. The lock is on the trailer while towing.

Just wanted to get some feedback here. Who has boat Insurance? Does it cover your fishing gear? Are you insuring the trailer?

My trailer is locked 100% of the time when it's not attached to the truck.

Our 10 day is showing 40's and 50's with a couple of 30's mixed in. The rain and relatively mild (upper 40's) temps we had yesterday melted a ton of snow. Hopefully some water will open up. Then again, I'm party dumb with a chance of stupid. ?

While I agree that black is a great color for pretty much all conditions, I do subscribe to the theory that different colors - fleck, in this thread - be added to a lure. I believe that a bass will see some color that will entice it to strike. I also still believe that some fat old man in a red suit still comes down my chimney like a fire pole once a year too. But I have issues.

I’ve been in construction for quite awhile and I’m not brand loyal. I do own a few Bosch tools and can unequivocally say that the Bosch tools I do own are top notch. If I was in the field more and using it for a living like I used to or using everyday as a hobbyist then I’ll make that kind of commitment. The amount of projects I do now, just doesn’t require high end tools. That’s for me. But to your original question, I’m a Bosch tool consumer with no complaints.

My boat came in a couple of weeks ago and I’m in the process of trying to get the boat and trailer registered. The trailer registration requires an original copy of the Certificate of Origin for the registry. My dealer UPS’d the documents on Wednesday and I signed and dropped off to my ins agent on Thursday. The agent wasn’t in, so I figured my paperwork won’t get dropped off until Friday, earliest. Because of Covid, MA Registry is doing drop off and notify when ready. Fair enough. This afternoon, Saturday, my plate came in by way of US Postal Svc. ? Gotta give credit where credit is due. I thought this was going to take 2 weeks, which I was fine with. ?
