Such great advice throughout this thread but I quoted this statement because time on the water, experience with the current inventory of baits you have and seeing what they do will always provide more valuable information. You can even educate yourself at home. Rig up a plastic on a hook, attach a leader and fill up a sink or bucket and just drop the bait in and see how fast or slow it falls, swim it and see what kind of action it provides and finally, twitch it on the bottom to get feedback as to what the bait does and how a fish sees it.

Not exactly what you're looking for but this sizing chart will help. https://www.jannsnetcraft.com/Content/downloads/sizing_chart.pdf Download, print and match you hook size to the chart. Inventory form there. My guess is you're gonna have a ton of size 6 & 8 hooks.

I'm sorry you feel that way bud, but I read the dialog and didn't get that impression, especially the knitting statement, seems to have been made in a very general sense. I may be misinterpreting here, but it doesn't appear condescending to me? And yes we can have productive dialog and you will learn that guys are very passionate about their gear and will voice their opinion. No harm is being done, just all casual banter. Go fish that bad boy rig and make memories with it.

I can certainly understand why, @A-Jay. As civilians we save and put taxed money in IRA's, Stocks, Bonds and Mutuals only to pay taxes on it yearly. Circle of life. Best to get away from this thread before they shut it down.

I noticed the spelling as well, not gonna lie, I had to go back to the link a couple of times to make sure I was spelling right. IDK, I'm not one to be the first to rush out and get new things on the market. I got my son a bat this year for Christmas and got last years model because of the reviews. I wasn't about to spend $300 for a product that wasn't even used yet. I know, "cheapskate" lol
